Realise this dumb at first, but the more you thonk about it the better it sounds. Or perhaps the more i think about Melbourne the more insane i get.

Get Sheeds involved as head coach for 2 years ala his job at GWS. He is able to build a culture and players respond well to him. He wanted the job when Bailey was appointed, I think for the right price he'd come. He leaves GWS at the end of this year.

I love Neeldy, I thought he was the one to lead us out of the mess. I think that If he had been handed Geelong when Thompson left them, Neeld would be applauded as a fantastic coach. It's painfully apparent that the bloke will lose his job at some point this year. It's time to get an experienced, proven coach.

I could stomach a Roos but Sheedy is an ar#e who revels in the misfortune of others. Clear pass.

Didn't even think of Mathews, I'd prefer him anyday. But let's be honest, Mathews would never coach Melbourne. I think Sheedy might.

He badmouthed the MFC after he mssed out the last time.....but he s too old now anyway.

If they gave him the job instead of Bailey, things would be different now,he would not have bought in to the Tanking debacle.

We would have done it the hard, way and by now would be reaping the benefits.

He is to old now, and he would not come any way.

Trouble with Kevin is that it's all about him. Was the same with the Bombers who underachieved given the talent.

Plus he's a deadset [censored].

I wanted sheedy when we interviewed for a new coach. Too old my foot. He took over the international rules side after and transformed the team to pure pace and blitzed Ireland just after finishing coaching at essendon. When we played gws they beat us early until fitness took over for us against 18 year olds.

Even at the end with essendon they were hardly wooden spooners, but still winning games of footy.

He can coach. He like Matthews questioned watts over natanui and we bitched about it, but he knows his footy.

Getting untried assistants seems highly risky to me.

Matthews - YES PLEASE

Roos - at least he would shut up bagging us

Sheedy - maybe, but I agree with Return to Glory, he is a dead set [censored].

But Neeld for a little while longer night be just as good.

The last thing we need is another game player and Sheedy is certainly one of those. If he was actually any good as a coach GWS wouldn't be letting him go. If in the future we do replace the coach we need a complete package with a sound gameplan for the modern era.

Mark Neeld i think would be a perfect person to have as a senior assistant, maybe not a head coach

Sheedy at the very least would identify exactly what is wrong with us in alot of areas

Demand the respect of the players, i think our on field effort would increase significantly just for having him around

can't see a downside, despite that people on here don't like him.

The last thing we need to be talking about is this. Sheedy please - too old, knowing past & present bomber players they couldn't have been happier when he left & can't stand the pri@k. Needle has thus far done everything in his power delisted players that have had to go and starting with a second rebuild - please went don't need to be speaking about this now.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
