Great work all!! Thanks heaps for your efforts and perseverance WW and Wizza. I'm sure the whole club has a bit of a spring in their step after seeing you all there this morning. At the moment every bit of confidence will help.

I'm excited about the future of our team even if it may take longer than I'd prefer.

Great turn out today. Thanks wayne and wizza and everybody else who had a hand in organising today. It's so easy to be critical and negative with whats been happening, but today was like a breath of fresh air. It's things like todays effort that defines us as a club and i'm sure the players really appreciated it .

P.S. If anybodies interested the boys trained the house down.

I must admit I was concerned about this. Imagine if after all this effort only a few people had showed up. It would have lead to more media ridicule about how after all that effort so few Demons turned up. Well, that the turn up was large is a great testament to the spirit of the supporters. Well done to all who went and to those who promoted it.

    Demonlander The Analyser was the sole Trackwatcher out at Casey Fields today to bring you the following observations from this mornings preseason training session. Training  was at Casey today. It consisted of a match simulation for one half  and then a free choice activity time.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

    Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
