"We shall never go on to the end. We shall lose to anyone in France, we shall lose on the seas and oceans, we shall lose with growing incompetence and lack of strength in the air, we shall never defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall lose on the beaches, we shall lose on the landing grounds, we shall lose in the fields and in the streets, we shall lose in the hills; we shall always surrender."

Get a group together and go for it (preferably after the season). You cannot just have the board and CEO quit with no-one to replace them.

Get a group together and go for it, otherwise this is a waste of time.

Let's see the results RR

Put it up...

they have had ample time and failed. I say that with a heavy heart.

Rolling over to the AFL was the last straw.

Yesterday was concrete fact.

IT'S NOT WORKING.

I think its time Melbourne head hunts and tried and tested football manager, CEO and president. even if they have bashed Melbourne in the passed. Also I think its time Garry Lyon puts his heart on the line and joins the club full time. Get Neitz back at the club to talk to the boys about putting your body on the line. We should do everything we can to get Neil Balme back.

What an absolute disgrace this poll is.

I'm all for keeping the club accountable, but this kind of rat-like agenda is as weak as it gets.

Would vote if there was just an option for Schwab

Can't see how you can vote to oust Schwab without doing the same to the bloke who heartily endorsed him. The two are in lockstep.

So just vote no and let people vent.

You want to close every second thread.

How many threads do we need for these rats to blame the board for our problems of the last 50 years?

Norm Smith was sacked by a board Stuie.

So the curse began at board level.

Who was in charge 'stuie', think we just let things go along as they have been. Shwab has had a good go at it and failed, move him on.

If this board had been in charge since 64 I may agree, but these calls are plain dumb.

Schwab is not responsible for our gameplan (or lack thereof), McLardy is not responsible for our lack of effort, they're not even responsible for who we trade/draft! I know we're all angry, but let's not just swing blindly at anyone we can think of, let's be the opposite of our team and actually focus our attention where it should be, the players and the coach.

Like others have said Stu, have your vote but quit this wanting to shut down threads you dusagree with. The vote looks evenly split so far. Hardly grounds to claim anyone is trolling or pushing an agenda.

You are not a moderator (thank christ).

I didn't ask for it to be closed, I said you are rats.

You are Kidding aren't you....The Board and CEO are ultimately responsible for any company...

The MFC and it's supporters must expect better than the last 7 years....Watch todays game Stuie.

How far behind it are we??

7 years to climb.....

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
