We have the best midfielder in this draft at pick 2. Surely clubs would want to trade for this pick. Key position forwards usually go higher in the draft, et Boyd so basically we have pick one in the draft. Common Roosy pull out some magic and get us a star!

When Neeld took over a couple of year ago wasn't he more focused on endurance and not putting on bulk? If so I wonder if it would make a difference to try and bulk up the players significantly in the pre season. Bigger, stronger bodies. Especially Grimes and Trengove, they are tiny. Bulk these boys up I'd say. What does everyone think?

True, I reckon the Lions have already have their man, why would they sack Voss when he was doing a good job and not have an immediate replacement? I do think Roos has already agreed but wanted to give it some time after sacking Voss cos he is man of integrity and didn't want to step into the Lions position on the same day as Voss got sacked.

Crappest post ever. First time in a long time there are a number of experienced coaches available - Roos, Williams, Eade etc. Next coach (will) be an experienced coach that we have needed to a long time. Not to mention new CEO, new president, new board, AFL funding. This is the re-birth of the Melbourne Footy Club and I can say I'm excited. We can all have our own opinions but for you to be so upset for the departure of Neeld, instead of being excited about what is to come I think you are way off the mark. Stop excepting mediocrity.
