We have gone backwards so much I cannot believe I watched this trash today! I don't agree with the game plan at all, it is plain shithouse we look so unfit and disinterested! what happened to when we could run and carry and play that exciting brand..!!

Oh and luke tapscott and lynden dunn can kiss my ass!

Perfect thread.

Bailey had half a game with the attacking side. At the moment Neeld has neither the attacking and defensive side.

Neeld's game plan is entirely reactive and negative. The team has no idea how to attack. This was evident last year and I expected to see a change this year but today we saw more of the same.

It's pretty impossible to defend if you can't hurt your opponent when you've got the ball. Attack is a big part of defence. It's not "either / or".

I am not sure about the game plan being the problem - our forwards were behind their opponents all day - the defenders were never near theirs, couldn't mark the pill to save our lives, there was no real teamwork in that most of the time, they left it to their team mate to do. Just lazy footballers.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
