In the past 5AA in South Australia have broadcast the preseason games from Adelaide but I'm not sure whether they will be broadcasting the game from Renmark.

I sent 5AA a tweet but they have not responded. They did respond last year when I sent a similar tweet.

@1395FIVEaa Are you broadcasting the @PAFC vs @melbournefc game on Sunday?

If anyone else wants to tweet them the same thing then that would be great. Surely they will reply to someone if they receive enough tweets about it.

Their twitter handle is @1395FIVEaa

UPDATE:

FIVEAA confirmed to me via Facebook that they will be broadcasting the game on Sunday via the afl.com.au website.

yes the broadcast will be available online via AFL.com.au

That will make for a nice unbiased call!

Yes. Well at least they aren't lying when they tell you that they (5aa) will be broadcasting the Port Adelaide game.

Wonder who they are playing!

Yeah, but at least we can hear what's happening, which is better than just following a bunch of tweets.

having listened to 5aa before I would say yes but only marginally.

Having listened to it many times before I would just say yes and move on to another thread, lol.

That is a very nice way of saying 'belt up" AJ

Looks like I failed your advice.

There was a guy last year called Rowe, or Rowie ?

He was the most wretched person I have ever heard commentate on the footy.

How quick one can erase Kelli Underwood from their memories.

I follow it on twitter because I just get the information, ie goals kicked etc, rather than inane/biased commentary, if I watch a game on TV actually watch it without the sound, same reason

I need the sound at the moment so I know who certain players are!

I listen while sitting at my PC so I can follow the twitter comments as well, not to mention join in any match comments going on here at D'land.

Now there you go Billy, after attending heaps of training and other functions, and some strange military training, I can recognise the players by number, body shape, haircut and actual running and kicking style

The day they start doing preseason in Queensland, the day I'll be fortunate enough to recognise new players.

Multitasking at its finest.

(though FWIW, shows why the AFL live streaming falls down ... they still think people watch/interact with footy on their computers in the same way they watch TV).

So, it's a choice between Tweets and Twits...??

I swear he has no idea (well he has no idea) that his broadcast can go outside his own state. The guy is a total DH makes Rex Hunt look like Einstein.

Have done 5AA before.

Rates with my vasectomy as something I will only do once.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
