Me and my brother drove up from Melbourne to see the game. I thought the crowd was great and the atmosphere was really lovely, food stalls all along the fence and the Port supporters weren't too bad.

I'm tipping Magner is playing on the ball today? Wonder if he will get a run through there during the season? Seems to play better as a ball winner/midfielder than a defensive forward.

I couldn't work out why Neeld tried him as a defensive forward when was doing so well as a mid.

Why are there so many whingers on this forum??? The commentators are giving Melbourne a wrap saying that we are moving the ball well and putting on good pressure. It's just that they don't know our players names.

Let up on the complaining for a change ! Turn off if you don't like it! Or even better some of the people that are on this forum could actually say something positive.

Probably trying to teach him the defensive side of the game. He wouldn't be the only ball winning mid in the comp with ordinary disposal by foot. Brad Sewell & Shane Tuck come to mind.

Magner is another in and under mid and last year with Jones,Beamer,Mckenzie and Magner it was too much of the same. I agree he is a better ball winner then anything else but we need someone to handball it to out of the pack. He was tried as a bit of a tagger too last year and that didn't work.

    It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium.
