The FD have some serious work ahead sorting those who can from those that cant or wont from those that might yet still and those that are just list deadwood.

Not as easy as some here seem to make out is it?!

We have guys with tons of talent/credit like Moloney, Davey, Sylvia, Morton, Bennell, Jetta, Petterd etc that could go either way under Neeld, and then we've got guys like Dunn, Bate, MacDonald, Sellar, who are honest triers, but aren't so talented, and that's where I feel the bulk of our changes will come from, rather than the younger brigade, at least this year.

Biggest offseason for us that I can remember, but that's not news to anyone here.

You cannot be serious! What do you think the members can do? The board have made a decision based on a whole lot more knowledge and understanding than you or any of us have about what is needed. When have the members ever been in a position to sack a coach? It's a fairly inane suggestion that Neeld is under any pressure. It's players on the ground who determine whether we win or lose. No amount of coaching will change those who refuse to be changed. The only answer is to move those individuals on.

Personally I think Beamer is a great asset to the club and I'm hoping he can regain some form and come back bigger and better. Having said that, it may be that the game has passed him by and that a whole new set of skills is required to compete at this level. I think it's time for all of the Neeld haters and Beamer critics to take a deep breath, have some faith and give everybody at the club a chance to get on with the jobs they are paid to do. A little faith/trust would go a long way. Rabid calls for indiscriminate sackings aren't going to help turn this club around.

Think you need to calm down and focus mate. You're lashing out blaming everyone for everything, maybe work out exactly what it is you're trying to say.

I rate Beamer as an honest trier, a much needed senior body and aggressive ball winner who has struggled with form, a new role, and a shift in what is being asked of him physically in 2012 and should be given the preseason and next year to get it together.

It's not all as dramatic as people like you are wanting to make out.

No argument he was our worse player that day, but to blame him for the result is the height of ridiculousness.

And yes he probably shouldn't have played, but that was the team Dr's decision, have you EVER heard an AFL player ask not to play?

No, but it is dramatic for Beamer because he is on very shaky ground.

I think opposition players have totally worked Beamer out.

Lots. The game just gets quicker. More instinctive play. But the role is still similiar. The flankers are all but gone but the midfield still dictates possession.
