Why can't he do in the big league!!!

Maybe bigger bodies, definate class rise, it's always gonna take time but he'll get there.

Yes 'OUR SIDE' and if you do not barrack for it tough tities. Casey is still 'OUR SIDE'.

Greatfully appreciated getting your updates of 'OUR SIDE' KC.

No, Collingwood and Geelong have their sides. Melbourne don't.

Let's not derail though, Kid.

I really hope that we don't have a Jarrad Waite on our hands with this guy. I like Watts because of what he does WHEN he gets the ball. Is he getting it enough, no not in my opinion. Waite is a lazy footballer who is good when the ball is in his area. I really hope Neeld is rectifiying this as quickly as possible because as we all know he has clearly picked up on the fact that he is a bit of a jogger.

In reference to where OUR players play it is OUR side and I dare say who the majority on this forum would follow.

Thanks for calling me Kid. However I look more like a grandfather.

Yes there should be an AFL Reserves. However the interestate sides do not want it.

So therefore we are stuck with a VFL come reserve grade setup of AFL and VFL alignment sides with a few stand alone sides plus Collingwood and Geelong. You could say it is a bit of a mess. But Vlad and his mates have deemed it so.

Come on, Casey boys!! Keep it up!

Nice to hear Viney doing himself justice :)

I want to see Watts back next week to impose himself a bit more and Jurrah under lights as well! ;)

This is just a rumour but the story going around is that Joel Selwood is out of the big one.

He should have been out anyway...

Heard that too, but not worth getting our hopes up just yet!

Half time.

Jack Watts is starring with two goals.

Thanks KC. Great to hear that Watts has taken a positive attitude into the game.

If you get a Casey ticket as part of your membership, half the team is Melbourne players, and we train there during summer, it seems to me to be perfectly legitimate to 'barrack' for Casey and think of them as 'our' team.

I thought that it was always going to be the case as it was mooted in an article a few days ago when the coach was said he was still feeling the effects of last weeks clash...at that time Wojcinski was mentioned as a possible in, but I think he's playing VFL(?) so that bit was wrong.

Liam kicks his first and the first of the final quarter!!!

Welcome back Jurrahcane and yes, to answer the last question, he's doing ok for a bloke who hasn't played since August and has had such a tough time in between.

Lead out to 31 points.

Byrnes and Gillies were named for the VFL side but didn't play.

Rumours one of the tall defenders has also pulled out.

Of course it's perfectly acceptable. Who could be critical of supporters barracking for them or considering them "ours" ?

Although I don't and they're not Melbourne's team. They're just irrefutable facts.

Obviously may still happen but I wanted to see Magner go to Selwood. Loving his first 5 games, would have been a massive challenge but great to see. Hopefully the Dees can follow the Scorps lead.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
