Ok so im guessing beamer wins. I just need to know if he pulls out his brock speech from a few years ago and tells a certain GWS player where to go.

Congrats to Beamer, a very deserved winner. A couple surprises for me in the top 5, but congrats to all the boys. Any chance of footage of Beamers speech too Andy?? I reckon it'll be a ripper.

Geez, Rivers clearly does his bit in the eyes of the club.

And clearly some supporters. :)

Isn't that RIGHT BB59 ?

yeah..good luck to him

2012 awaits huh.....different judges

Jimmy being there was amazing. I was told there would be a couple of big announcements at the B & F. Were there any?

Well deserved winner. Had no doubt he would get it .

Did Don McLardy say "do the Dockers know you are here?".

Said or meant to say " doctors".

Did Don McLardy say "do the Dockers know you are here?".

I think he said (or meant to say) "doctors".......

(as Redleg said first!!!)

The funniest "I wish I hadn't said that" line tonight goes to Nathan Jones who on accepting his award said..

"And thanks to my girlfriend for putting up with a little [censored] for a lot of the year."

Well done Beamer.

Love this guy and bleeds red and blue.

Met him a few times now and is always happy to talk.

Hopefully has a stand out 2012 along with allot of other Dees.

Well done beamer, thoroughly deserved, dominant season from him! Privileged to share a first name with you!

Jimmy Stynes was the Winner...lets get that straight.

This club must rise & win the 2012 Cup for him....NO EXCUSE.

The only announcement made was that Hawthorn went down to Collingwood by 3 points.

Huge disappointment that!

Disappointed in Pies winning or no announcements. Is TAC final on TV?

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
