I enjoyed it EGD. Gutsy effort in crap conditions.

I'm not the only one asking the question re Scully.

OK but your position on Scully is pretty clear. Do you honestly think he didnt sing the song with his team mates cos hes goin to GWS? HA HA HA laughable....

I've seen guys with knee recos, concussion, broken bones make it to the circle for the song. It is slightly strange. The only excuse for it is if he's left the ground for x rays or something.

Except the song wasn't sung in the rooms, it was sung in the cool room up on the ground.

Scully was in the rooms getting treatment, and probably had no idea the boys were going to sing the song up there. WTF was he meant to do? Run out of the rooms mid treatment after guessing the players weren't going to come into the rooms for the song? FFS, why are we making such a big deal about it!

Oh no, Scully farted, quick he's going to GWS, get your booing voice ready!

Must be gone then.

Just had a thread deleted with 3 worthless replies like yours....... All I asked was why Scully would not join the huddle with his boys to sing our song. I have seen countless players join in with bad injuries including Grimes who had a broken foot whilst on crutches. I wasn't suggesting he is off to GWS in fact I have always thought he'd stay and simply was concerned and all I got was smart a## dribble as replies. Thanks.

It's getting ridiculous isn't it? You can't even ask a simple question about the guy anymore without the censors stepping in.

It's a valid question.

Stupid reply thinking everyone is on the page that he must be gone cos he didn't sing the song. I just noticed he wasn't there and wondered if he was hurt more badly than first thought, back up a bit.

Here here and it is so true, you mention Scully and so many members or moderators jump down your throat assuming you must be against Scully or sure he's leaving. Just and observation guys. If Trenners went off in the last with a knee in the back and didn't join in the song and I asked why he wasn't there? Would you delete my thread?

Valid in what sense RR? We all know why you raised it, but as I said, you also probably saw reds under the bed in the 60's.

If Col Sylvia or Stef Martin didn't show up, I'd ask the same question.

Other people noticed and asked as well.

It's rare for a player not to front for the club song unless they can't get off a stretcher or have gone to hospital.

If you've played footy or been around football clubs, you would know this.

Give it a rest and go and check under your bed... I heard there may be some reds under it.

With what we now know about Eastern Europe and its structure and influence following the breakdown of the Soviet bloc, it is now generally acknowleged that there were in fact truly

It maybe your 500 posts in the last week about scully that have led people to jump on you RR

Kinda the wrong thread for anything too rational.....

Come on guys, I am sure there was a very reasonable explanation to him not being there but I can only imagine the reason the other thread was

deleted was to stop the endless spread of Tom Scully threads and keep all opinions no matter what in the one place. Nothing more conspiratorial than that.

WTF?? Because of how you are going about it... just a simple "he is probably just still getting treatment" would have done it, but as soon as you mention Scully around here you are shot down with fast witted replies, a question about any other would have got a normal response.

Then how about we just go with your rational response and say.....

"he is probably just still getting treatment", which I'm sure is absolutely accurate.

And we all move on :) !!!

Oh, I took your comment as an attempt at facetious humour. It wasn't?

No, it was an account of a far more probable explanation than your idiotic, irrational and frankly boring need to turn anything Scully related into a negative.

Move on and just wait patiently until this contract issue is resolved. You're boring everyone half to death with this repeated [censored].

You don't know more than any of us on this matter, in fact, you probably know less, so just shut the hell up about it until you have something new and proven to add, and stop negatively portraying a MELBOURNE FOOTBALLER (and yes, he is still a Melbourne footballer).

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
