I know Davis is not a great kick, which is a pity because I think he has some ability and can play at either end of the ground.

It will be interesting to see how the new coach evaluates him.

Watch Davis at training R & B IMO he is no better then than on game day.

Fair point -- I haven't been to training for longer than I care to admit ...

I think his contract is up this year Redleg for a player that will have been on the list for three years with a team that cannot beat time with a stick and still cannot get one game it does not look good.

He will probably get little thought or attention.

Sad but I think his gone!

Redleg, Byrnes is still in the side

How?

Why?

Somethings in life I will never understand

It has to be his farewell game against his old side.

Not sure he is good enough to make the Casey side.

Broad is following in the family footsteps. His father chris broad, refused to leave the wicket after being given out, in a match in the mid eighties. Graham Gooch had to walk down the pitch and tell him to leave.

Given the obvious dismissal, young Broad's performance was extremely poor. It is one thing on LBW's and disputed catches, to wait for the umpire, but when you know you are clearly out, you don't cheat. His performance was pathetic.

Sadly it looks like the Poms will win this test, unless we bat brilliantly in the 2nd innings.

Another Monday not much different to many over the last two years.

Only 68 points on Saturday

Two years ago 186 occurred to this day we still do not know the details.

And whatever they were they may well be the root cause of where we sit today.

It still amazes me that a group of players with way more ability than the current group could get beaten so badly.

Not enough credit given to Mark Neeld for engineering such a dramatic turn around in form after the cataclysm that was 186.

Perhaps we could forward a letter of thanks.

Another good sporting weekend for me. Dees smashed, Casey smashed, Australia beaten.

Add Uni Black drew, kicked themselves out of it.

But my old home town got up.

God I am grasping at straws

Oh well, we haven't lost in Dawin for at least a year.

A couple weeks ago i thought we might have a chance against the Lions but they way they have played the last couple of weeks i would say we have no show

Uni Blacks need a speedy midfielder ,who kicks himself out of it, like Dan Nicholson perhaps?

Only fair really .

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

    CENTIMETRES by Whispering Jack

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak
