He's had a fairly rough time and I thought he turned the corner today, he marked and kicked well, he beat Del santo all day, what else can I say ???

Including Tapscott in that group is just mean.

Come on now. The guy played less than a quarter and still did more for us than those that played a full game.

The poor bugger did it chasing one of those dreaded kicks across goal too.

Jones and Sylvia also considered.

I'm sorry but you didn't watch the same game. Jones missed out on your votes and yet Jetta and Evans got in? wtf.

Apologies to Evans, who had a great debut, and Maric, who I am beginning to get excited about - he is starting to show the excellent kicking and decision making skills we were promised when he was drafted. Very happy with the ball in his hands. Hopefully Strauss can show the same improvement.

You're kidding right? Gets the ball well disposes well most time but he tries to do too much, refuses to put on defensive pressure and put in short steps twice yesterday. Take the first option and start to tackle and chase and I would then agree.

I thought I would put in the supercoach rankings again for comparison

Only 1 player above 100 is not good. SC scores obviously do not take into account many other important stats/factors that influence a game and the worth of a player.

Full credit to Stef Martin. It's a sad reflection on where we are at with Stef in 3rd place.

How Aaron Davey has managed 8 votes this year is astounding.

He was good in our two landslide wins.

Nathan Jones: 4 contested possessions / 31, 2 tackles - nice gig if you can get it.

If he bumped into Clint Jones in a nightclub it'd be the first time.

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
