The game has been cancelled due to predicted bad weather.

Pity, I was looking forward to some footy on TV tonight. Will just have to wait another week to see Aaron, Jamie and LJ.

Ahh. Cyclone Yasi has a say. We'll get some of it's remains later next week, just as we're now experiencing some of the remains courtesy of Cyclone Anthony. Lucky for Richmond though, the Jake King led team would have copped a flogging.

Ever since watching Schwarz do his knee for 2nd time at Lavington playing in the seconds during the pre-season , the thought of losing another gun player in a fairy floss game terrifies me .

I had a foot in both camps, wanted to see another Jurrahighlightreel - but didn't want any injuries.

Too bad it wasn't cancelled when they originally moved it. Davey and Jurrah would have added some much needed class to the intra club.

Injuries happen on the track ,at intra club games, etc, etc.

The all stars game is an important initiative by the AFl and all the clubs.

I am absolutely delighted that we (and other clubs) are committed to this and to indigenous communities across Australia.

I'm sure our guys are bitterly disappointed not to have the chance to wear the all stars jumper tonight.

And even though it was a sapping experience last year (why we dont have a bye after it remains a mystery) I think its great we are going back to TIO in July to build on our committment to indigenous footy.

Yeah all the fluff sounds good but all I really care about is round one and having the fittest and best team available.
