No, it should be obvious to us all. If he hasn't signed by round one, he's already decided to leave. The GC experience should have taught us all how it will go.

Speaking of round one can it hurry up and get here already?

I didn't believe I was.

There is just a different 'median' outlook between the two sites.

Some say it is a myth.

I don't think so.

Just my opinion.

Im new here but i am guessing that when you start your opinion with "it is obvious" when it really isnt obvious then ridicule is gonna happen

Give it a rest - it's obvious that the post was my opinion, like every one of yours on this thread. You guys are just looking to cause trouble like half the demons fans on these forums. Try to reply to posts without the toolishness.

Find a hobby or something.

And I gave my opinion on your opinion.

Sunrise, sunset.

I was glib, though. And sometimes we don't need to be.

It's that obvious is it ? If he hasn't signed by round one ? Pull the other one and it plays jingle bells.

Just my opinion!! Calm down (in advance).

Oh, well....that gets you off the hook then....

And opinions have to stand up to scrutiny.

If your opinion is that you will be nervous that Scully has not signed before the end of next year then you wont get an argument from me.

So here is my hobby - looking up words in the dictionary. When you said it is obvious that Scully has decided to leave if he has not signed by round one i looked up the word obviously and came up with

—Synonyms

1. plain, manifest, clear, palpable, unmistakable

I think it is not plain, manifest, clear, palpable or unmistakable that Scully has decided to leave if he hasnt signed by round one.

I would suggest it is more obvious that his manager thinks he will get a better deal at seasons end rather than beginning of the season. There is more evidence of players not signing contracts that are lapsing until seasons end to get a better deal than there are players that not signing contracts because they have made up their minds to leave.

Jack Watts ? Nathan Jones .....

You most certainly do to some around here.

Scully won't sign because he's single minded in his focus on getting the absolute best out of himself and his career. Money will be part of that equation but not the be all and end all. He'll wait until Melbourne offer him the kind of money he knows he can earn. It'll then be up to the club to determine if he's worth it. I've got a hunch they think he is! Remember we've got plenty to offer, we're not the basket case we were 3 years ago and he's in a great position to see that.

I was under the impression he is one-in-a-generational talent...

I know we want to posture in case he leaves but let's not kid ourselves - it would be a massive blow.

Nasher is the one who is proficient in propheticness.

A semi private convo we had a while ago where Nasher predicted much of what's going on in here.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
