Barty shouldn't get dropped. Will get the job on Milne. Was hardly our worst today.

Scott West on SEN before the game said Gysberts was out because of hamstring tightness.

Don't know how serious the tightness is and whether they want to give him another week or not.

We will never succeed with Baileys current gameplan of efficient disposal starting from the backline while Bruce is still either in the team or being played in that position... He's been a great player but he is one of a few (probably Bruce, Rivers, Miller) who give their best but simply don't have the skill level to execute the current game plan

Please god no PJ.

Say yes to Spencer, say no to PJ.

I can't bring myself to drop anyone just to bring in some help for Jamar, when in reality our back up options are terrible and/or not ready to make an impact at the top level.

If Reiwoldt plays as was stated in todays paper, stick Watts on him so he can learn how a forward plays. If he gets spanked, that would be great. The bugger needs to play down back to learn some desperation.

Great Idea!

Time to give Cheney a run.

You are right. I am not his biggest fan but he deserves a go next week.

I can think of 5 players that should make way for him.

What about Bell he has played well for Casey, surely could not make us any worse!

Outs - Miller & Jetta (both absolutely awful today) and probably Macdonald (although you could choose from about 5)

Ins - Sylvia & McDonald (both automatic inclusions if fit) and one of Spencer/PJ (don't really care which but we can't go in with one ruckman against St Kilda who play 3 or 4)

Rivers and Warnock only survive because St Kilda play a tall forward line

PJ won't be back next game, although he has been in Casey's best for the last few games, because he got a 1 game suspension from the VFL tribunal.

Enlighten me why Jetta should stay?? PPoor today

OUT Jetta, Miller, Watts,

IN Sylvia, McDonald, Gysberts(all if available)

If Riewoldt plays, Warnock stays in, otherwise drop him for Cheney

I like these! Try some one new forward. Maybe a Garland or Rivers!

The problem isn't the forward line, it's the way and number of times we're getting it down there.

Conversion rate today was good ... even very good, considering what was going on further up the ground.

Can you post something without knocking Bailey every single time? It's very tiresome...

But I agree with what you've said about those 3 ('cept Bruce)

Changes will be difficult this week, considering how bad Casey was last week.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
