Julia Gillard

Forest Demon

Recommended Posts

Not overly important, but given the goings on of the last few days, I remember hearing somewhere a while back that Julia Gillard is a Demons fan. Can anyone confirm this?

Rudd was a Broncos fan and was seen a few times doing promotional stuff with the club such as being presented with signed jumpers etc, so who knows, we might see Julia doing similar stuff for the club, hardly inspiring but cant hurt.

She is number one ticket holder for the Bulldogs.

Love it! (Reckon she's got more hope of kicking 10 goals in a game for the Dogs than she has of succeeding as PM! LOL)

I wonder if Chri$$$$$$ Judd will suck up to her as much as he did to Rudd - remember the sickening Juddster / Ruddster exchange - more like Juddster / Fraudster.

Yes, she came out with what has become almost an admission of disloyalty, swearing her allegiance to the dear departed leader with the utterance "I am more likely to play full forward for the Bulldogs than to become Proooiiiyyy Minister."

Let's look at the positives.

For one she is a REAL AFL follower, not a phony NSW/QLD resident who pretends to follow a team because they have to, and wouldn't know the difference between Barry Hall and Buddy Franklin.

Secondly, she is a Doggies supporter so she'd be all for giving extra funding to struggling clubs who haven't won a flag in decades.

And finally, and here is the big one, she does not barrack for either Carlton or Collingwood, because the one people less trustworthy than politicians, are Carlton/Collingwood supporters.

And it could be even worse than that she could be a crows or power supporter after all she comes from Adelaide. But like a lot of people with Labour party affiliations when they arrive in this state they automatically think they have to barrack for a so called working class team such as the Bullies or Collingwood not realising that the latter of the two is actually lumpen proletariat and full of criminals, racists and other declassed elements.

OK then.

See, we have negotiated and reached consensus in the interests of our great nation and this magnificent football club, not to mention this wonderful football site. I think I will run for PM.

And she knows Judd is a wimp - I like her suggestion about the glue pot

JHO (KRudd's predecessor) - did grant the Doggies big bucks to do up the Western Oval

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie
