No, absolutely happy if there's no change.

I almost forgot about Bail (emerg's), as Strauss is playing well.

"Gee but it's good to be back home", on the 'competative' street.

There's two players in the emergency list that absolutely deserve a game but can't currently get one. Love it.

Geez I'm excited about this week.

Garland, Frawley, and Warnock are making it hard for Rivers...

And I love Jared Rivers.

Maybe Future Garland to do what Bruce does now, and there is a Future Rivers...

You gotta love the fact that usually a thread like this is buzzing with complaints or congratulations at the selection committee as people see that we've made 3 or 4 changes.

When we name an unchanged line-up it's just not the same.

Not if Rivers meets Future Rivers.

There'd be a tear in the time-space continuum and the universe would cease to exist.

Best to keep Rivers at Casey and play Future Rivers in the 1s.

Which Universe? The Universe where Melbourne are ordinary - That has already ceased to exist!

Good to see no change it rewards the players for their efforts to date.

Looks like we got the good Warnock the Carlton one has been dropped this week.

I thought he was an umpire.

Bail very unlucky not to get his spot back... was absolutely fantastic in the first four weeks. Didn't get dropped, couldn't over a corky in time. Thought the bloke that replaced him last week might make way - thought wrong on that

fair thought, martin did enough to deserve a spot but if it had've been any other week bail's efforts in the first few weeks could have trumped him.

this week though - 50 point win over 2nd placed side, combined with nth play 3 ruckmen.

lol, when i was at the pies v demons game i was there with 2 pies and a blues man. we ended up chatting about warnock, he thinks robert warnock was an awesome pick up and will dominte this season... I laughed in his face, in turn he got offended :)

Any team that has an in-form Rivers and Bail listed as emergencies is a team on its way to the finals. Surely.

And, to think, Morton, Jurrah and Wona are probably due to return in the next month to six weeks. Cannot believe how hard it is to get in this side at the moment.

That's not to mention Tapscott, Gysberts, Strauss, Blease and a few others.

Guess which Warnock brother has been dropped this week? I think that says it all.

Random thought of the day:

If we win, Western Bulldogs beat St kilda, Carlton beat Collingwood and Brisbane beat Sydney, then we'll still be out of the 8 despite us being 4-2.

And that would be the definition of a log jam!!!

Yeah this could be a possible ladder at the end of the round:

Brisbane 5-1

Geelong 4-2

Sydney 4-2

St Kilda 4-2

Collingwood 4-2

Carlton 4-2

Fremantle 4-2

W Bulldogs 4-2

-------------------

Melbourne 4-2

Port Adelaide 4-2

Wouldn't that be something?

Then at the bottom you'd have Richmond and Adelaide winless, West Coast with 1 win, one of Hawthorn and Essendon with just 1 win and the other with 2 and North with 2. So there'd be a fair gap developing already.

For structure alone I like Martin in the side.

Bail will get more opportunities.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
