I doubt we'll be trading for Burgoyne. If we want him, we'll be persuading him to resist going to Hawthorn or any other club this week, and go into the PSD.

None of this matters, because he'll end up at Hawthorn. Come Friday, Port will realise that they're not going to get any offers better than that which Hawthorn has already proposed. So they'll take it.

Yep

also reckon he'll end up at hawthorn because what stopping him gong into the national draft where he gets picked up at 9 by hawthorn anyway. no one before the hawks pick at 9 will pick him up. if i were port i'd end up taking pick 9 and a half decent player for him.

Would Port really givepick 9/10 for Jamar? seems way over the odds to me.

I want to know from all fans, do we want Burgoyne? simple yes or no. i am undecided. if the majority is yes, then pick 18 and Jamar for him maybe?

PSD= yes

Trade= no

Well I don't really rate ruckmen.

I think they're only useful if they contribute around the ground, but that generally all you need is someone able to physical compete in the ruck and a very good midfield. A good ruck won't help a poor midfield, but a good midfield can compensate for a poor ruckman.

When did you graduate from the school of Grant Thomas? Nothing, absolutely nothing can compensate for a poor ruckman; especially when they give frees away in front of goal.

Now you have gone and ruined another BS post with the facts. Damn.

But he is using a report off SEN - the origin of all BS.

Back when BS was first formed people wondered who would perfect the notion of bringing together a fascinating topic and a grand fable to convince people of beautiful lies in a insidious plan to waste the time of people who would waste it anyway...

Then came along the Sports Entertainment Network on the AM dial...

All this was foretold in pictures that form a birthmark on craig hutchison's left arsecheek.

brad hardie confirmed this, i would be surprised if he would make this up without some comfirmation

I was talking in general, probably shouldn't have quoted you.

But I'd be pretty shocked if Hawthorn traded Campbell Brown, unless of course they think his temper is negatively influencing the club (doubtful).

according to brad hardie hawthorn has offered pick 9 and campell brown, and campbell brown is [censored] off big time.

he is the sprit of that club and this will finish them, lmao

If true, that is a shame...

And not going to happen.

Campbell won't agree to it.

Hawks offer Brown

"PORT Adelaide has been offered Hawthorn hardman Campbell Brown as the Hawks seek to close the trade for Power vice-captain Shaun Burgoyne"

"If Brown agrees to the trade, the Power will secure Hawthorn's first-round draft pick (No. 9) and Brown in return for midfielder Burgoyne who quit Port last month"

This deal goes against everything melbourne have been about over the past few weeks and even the last few years, not a chance in hell this is true.

exactly, we have set up ourselves nicely for this draft, have a core group of players coming through together, dont stuff it up now

^^

Deal of the century for Port.

That's a pathetic trade for Hawthorn.

Burgoyne is 2 years older than Brown and Port have now got 2 top 10 picks.

They obviously want Burgoyne. Hawks supporters should remember they got Gibson. If they get Burgoyne I think it's pretty good for them, given at where they are at.

Hawks supporters are just emotional.

They won't pick up much in the draft that's all.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
