thanks for posting this!!

very interesting indeed.. and i think could be fairly accurate!

i agree Martin would probably go to North as I think he would suite their style of play and fit in nicely! Tigers need a key forward badly and if we pass on Butcher I am sure they will step in! I heard Port were keen on filling their ruck.. but i doubt they would pass on Tapscott!

I just hope this is right.. and we get PANOS!!

If that were the draft, it'd mean we could take Panos, with our third pick. I'd be very happy with that.

No 45hg?

Maybe next year

Also no Lewis Jetta... at pick 18 could be an absolute jet.

Looks like the genuine crumbing forward who is lightning fast that we need!

sylv...judging by his highlight videos, i think he is more than just a forward

I also wouldnt mind vardy to slip past to our 2nd round pick...they didnt have him going until pick 16

He rips in the midfield and has a genuine eye for goal. the kid took a mark and kicked a goal from fifty five on the weekend that sailed through 3/4 way up the goal post. i couldn't believe it, he didn't even look like he tried. i haven't seen a little bloke kick a goal that far that easily before. He tore subiaco apart and was bog for 3 quarters then went quiet as swans were over run. I'd be more than happy to have him at the club. at halftime they had a story about him and his brother graham. he's seems a quiet kid with a decent head on his shoulders too.

Exactly, here in Adelaide general opinion is that Panos will go 2nd round so that would be great for us.Num 1 Skully,Num 2 Trengove & then our 3rd pick Panos.Gets us 2 gun mids & a great KPF.Thats a big win for us.I watch Panos every week & love how he plays

I have thought exactly the same thing. I saw have seen him play 3 times and would have thought he might get picked in the first round but it seems like he won't. Somestimes I wonder if the Victorians get a bit of an advantage with exposure...but it will hopefully be a good thing for us.

Go the Norwood redlegs ;)

Pick 1. Scully

Pick 2. Trengove

Pick 18. Tapscott, Lewis Jetta, Panos, Vardy

Could we trade a player or two for a top 15 pick possibly? I think our list may be a bit cluttered with players who are similiar or wont cut it in our best 22 with all these youngsters coming on. Eg. Bate, Maric etc.

If say the likes of Panos and Jetta were not around at 18.. what if anything are folks views on Mathew Smith of the Bendigo Pioneers ? an interesting type.

i would love to pick up up coliyer with pick 18 from wa he seems like a little boomer harvey

I agree. By the way it's Colyer. Very quick, pacey and looks to be a serious option for pick 18.

Going by that list, a little surprised Talia is down the list a bit. But certainly the first 7 or so could be close enough.

hmmmmm ... i think this could be overpaying.

No one can argue with Melbourne's first 2 selections of Scully and Trengove.

I think Melbourne will go tall at #18 - probably with Panos/Griffiths.

But that is just my view.

also FWIW Im not so sure Carlton will overlook Talia for Christiansen.

I love the look of this kid - he would give the opposition fits.

Without having seen a lot of him, i'd worry about his kicking, his engine and decision making.

If these are all at a high level too, I'd love to get him as a third round pick.

How much overpaying?

I see him in the 2nd round. Are you thinking 3rd round?

I can understand Melbourne's intentions of going tall at pick 18, if they elect Scully, Trengove for 1 & 2.

All pending of course 'if" we end up with 1,2,18. Which at this stage looks likely.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
