Key forward Brad Miller is back to take on the Swans, with injury forcing the Demons to make at least five changes.

Among the eight inclusions are two debutants in Queenslander Rohan Bail and Jordie McKenzie, who was today promoted from the rookie list this week.

We could have played a worse team but it should be enough to lose to Sydney who are shocking

Now all we have to do is play rookies against Freo and we may finish on less than 5 wins!!!!

PPs here we come....hopefully

Can't say any of this is a suprise really!

Wouldn't think that Jordie will play though, however I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Exciting times ahead!

Given that we would have paid the expense to promote him, I'd say he'll play.

Outstanding work from the selection committee. Quite simply the most hilarious team changes I have ever seen. I'm so glad the club is as keen on securing Tom Scully as most of the rest of us.

Miller and Newton back in!? Miller needs to play the game of his life or he is gone. Same goes for Newton

Grimey out?

Hope Mackenzie and Bail play, would love to see two debuttants.

Can't believe Green is injured, where's the Scaphoid?

Can't believe they'd play Miller before Robbo.

Looks like cool heads have prevailed. It is very important to ensure all young players are put under the blow torch to see whether they are up to it at the highest level. This includes putting players in unfamiliar positions to develop flexibility. This way informed decisions can be made when evaluating the list at the end of the season.

The club should be congratulated for its proactive stance on list management.

Make no mistake - this is purely list management and has nothing to do with priority picks.

The AFL after all knows all and tanking is fantasy and does not exist in the real footy world.

Seriously knee and hand injuries need to be taken with extreme care.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
