The question im asking is if it where up to you would you decide to win or lose? Giving whats at stake pic One and two and the possibility of wce tanking out the rest of the season.

Remember the question is if you were to decide the outcome what would you choose, not will you be barracking for the dees or anything like that.

Personally i will be cheering on the dees as i do every week.

If we win i hope we thrash them havent seen that in agesssss.

Not saying this applies to you CD but...

"I'm a MFC supporter that regularly posts on Demonology and Demonland and I love my club so much that I want to see them win a flag so I think we should lose 18 games this year so we can get two good kids in the draft.

But if Bailey thinks that getting 18 losses involves patience for bad losses, he has got another thing coming. I believe it not only possible, but downright easy, to lose 18 times and not get blown out of the water in games."

This contradiction is dominating the minds of approx. a third of the people on this forum and I'm getting sick and tired of it.

And I am going to go on record here and say that the last 9 weeks have been against teams not comparable to where we are this year (against the top 8 teams in the league and WC at Subi), and we will come out this week and beat the Coasters on our turf.

A big, fat W this week.

I want us to win 4 or less, but each and every week, I want us to win. I know that makes no sense and is a massive contradiction, but the thing is, I don't really care.

WC winning last week also makes beating them a lot more palatable for me. Also hoping for a win here.

Given that we should've beaten them over there earlier in the year, we really should win this one.

So true. If posters want to Lose 18 games in a season, we will envitable get big blowouts.

The faster we can click off the losses, the better.

A win against Weagles and then I'll like MFC to take 4 weeks off.

In the context of the grand scheme of things we must lose this week and ensure the first 2 picks. A loss this week will be forgotten in a short time but if we miss picking up a player that will help shape our future then this will be a no brainer win.

I think we will win because WCE would also be dumb to miss out on a priority pick for the sake of a pointless win. If nothing else the game should be an intriguing one.

Yes. I am so sick of losing. I just need a win, because I can't see us winning any other games this year.

We could easily beat the Tigers and Freo at the G.

Perhaps even North, although they seem to be our bogey side.

Lets win this one and go back to losing streak after. Win only for the young boys in the side to gain back some of the optimism, self-respect and self belief that they had three games ago!

Win. Every week the same thing - WIN!

Is funny, you make it seem like we have a choice in what we do.

There is not a chance in hell that we will win and Nick Natanui will just be laughing at Watts the whole time as he jumps all over him. Assuming he gets a game...

we need to win... for moral building. It's a win win whether we lose or win. If West Coast win they are on 5 wins and no draft pics. if we win , we are only on 2 wins and moral buster . GO DEES

Jack Bauer is a moral buster.

I think you meant morale booster.

For those that see this game as a win-win regardless of the result, you CAN NOT criticise Bailey for winning only 3 or 4 games this season.

If you want picks, and you want to win games - you are a hypocrite who should abstain from discussion of the coach on his win-loss ratio. Because it is that very ratio that will deliver your precious picks.

We'll win against West Coast. We accounted for them easily last year, and I do think we've improved since then.

Wins against Freo, Port and Richmond are also on the table. If we lose one of them, the Priority Pick will be sewn up.

I have to say I am busting for a win. The losing is taking its toll. I'm sick of it. I want something to get excited about. We need a win badly, as a club, as a playing group and as supporters. We can win 4, so why not take one this week?

I'd hate to think what this place will be like next week if we put in another stinker and lose to West Coast. It just can't happen.

We need a win now.

If we go much longer without a win, I'm going to start to think that when we finally do win and the boys sing the club song, there might be more players in the middle of the circle celebrating their first win for the club, than there will be players actually making up the circle.

Ok, that's exaggerating. But still, we need to win.

Just a note, Centrebet has us as $2.16 underdogs to West Coasts $1.70. I might just take a dip at that $2.16.

I doubt we'l beat port or kangas as you've left out, so i think 4 wins is the maximum if all goes well anyway.

We have a very good record against Port in Melbourne. They've only beaten us once. I think we're more likely to beat them, than the Eagles.

In a way i recon it depends wich Port adelaide turns up.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
