With the Bombers having their best season in years you'd think there'd be a fair roll out of Bomber fans and hopefully there'll be a few Dees fans there too.

I think with the break a few more Bombers fans will come to the game after work and see what they can serve up against a young up and coming team. Plus with Jurrah being named a few Melbourne supporters should get to the ground as well. I have no idea why Demons fans hate the place so much. I love footy at the Dome.

That being said i really really really reallllllllllllllllllllly want to beat these guys.

Call it growing up in East Keilor and being surrounded all your life by red and black but i'd love to get a win against Essendon.

I'm psyched..

GO DEES!!!

It's why Melbourne supporters have the reputation as the weakest in AFL. A capacity crowd in a close game at the Dome is just as thrilling as footy at the G'.

The place is disgusting.

Hate the joint.

I never enjoy games there as much. I still go but I'd rather be elsewhere.

Less than 10,000 MFC supporters.

I beg to differ. The Dome is a pathetic excuse for a stadium. It's dirty, it has no identity and the seating is crappy.

BBP, is that humour?

A close game in front of a packed house has just as much atmosphere as a normal game at the G. A close game at the G with half the fans has twice the atmosphere.

It's a horrible ground and I wouldn't belittle anyone for not going there.

I would think essendon would draw at least 35k themselves, so im predicting a minimum of 40k. I'll go for 42,508

I for one will not be there plainly because of the poor ticketing arrangements. I hope those of you who do attend really get behind the team WITHOUT GETTING IN A FIGHT with the neanderthal Essendon supporters.

GO DEES

FALL FLAT ON YOUR FACE BOMBERS

ps Good luck LJ for those of you who havnt seen him please dont be demoralized if he doesn't get a kick and becomes overawed by the whole experience of playing in front of 35 thousand intelligent and ill-informed idiots. THE KID IS STAR!!!

Im going for 43000, I only hate Docklands coz of the seating allocation. No general admission at ground level.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
