Depends on the deal we get. I am an MCC/MFC Member, so i was expecting to sit in my reguliar place. Level 2 on the wing.

The deal is not set in stone yet, we need some good melbourne attendances in the next few weeks at the MCG to voice our disapproval.

Have to say something good will have to happen for me to go. If its at the 'G' i'll be there but if its not i want.

So will you go if its at Etihad?

Yes. I'm there for the team & more importantly OUR club!!!!

You might want to edit this (opening post) for a poll? So you can see the divide on one post.

Why would people not go??? The game is 5 mins from the G and we get to see our side playing in Melbourne.

Some wonder why we are called fair weather folk when people would even question turning up to support your team because it is just down the road from our home ground. Insanity...

It is not a matter of just buyinf a membership and some merch we need to actually turn up to games and watch the side ffs.

Yes, will be there regardless.

Sure, we would all prefer the game to be played at the G. I enjoy sitting with all the other Redlegs on level 2 of the Southern for home games. But I don't understand all the sooks who wont take a short trip down the road to support the team no matter what stadium theyre playing at or wherever their precious reserved seat sits them at the Docklands.

Come on people. Let's get serious.

I have no problem going there but i don't see why we should be pushed off OUR home ground for two clubs that don't even call the MCG home

They should have to pay us to use our home ground and to have us relocated.

That is why i do not want to go to Etihad Airlines Stadium. We are being kicked off our patch. It will cost more money (food Drinks etc) & that money goes to Faceless Shareholders.

Its not that its just down the road. Its the money distribution. I Hate that Ground & it is entirely the AFL's Fault (wayne Jackson)

I will go but I want to know where I get to sit. I have a reserved seat at the G so I better not be thrown into general admin at Docklands.

We will all go, Jack Watts will debut in this game, well if the club is smart they will debut him in this game. It will create interest in the game and for any Melbourne support they will want to watch his first game.

If charlie Watts is debuting, Yes i will go, but i would still wish he would debut at the MCG

I'm pretty sure he's already played at Wembley.

I hope WYL that we see Jack even sooner then that.

And yes, of course I will still go.

Charlie Watts first played "The G" in '95 and i am sure his young namesake will be just as exciting in his own craft.

Interesting to hear what the club thinks about this potential venue shift.

But don't you think a better way to show the AFL is to have as many supporters as possible at the ground? Not showing up just confirms the AFL's view of us.

Depends upon the compensation deal I guess, it would make the difference between a forced but polite smile and an intense grimace masquerading as a smile.

I'll go where ever it is. Not turning up just because it's not at the MCG is stereotypical fair weather supporting and it's why some of us who go week in, week out get labelled fair weather supporters. Who gives a [censored] where the game is. Get out there and support them. I'd rather play at the 'G, of course, but suck it in.

Exactly! Ten points.

We can protest as much as we like, but if we do have to play at the Dome why wouldn't you come and support the team for a game in Melbourne?

I know I don't like the Dome anywhere near as much as the MCG, but why abandon the team if we do have to play there. I don't think a poll is necessary.

dome, stadium, g, optus, casey - not really fussed. If the dees are playing then I am there.

for people who complain about the stadium and paying more the entire reason the AFL push us around is because of fickle supporters like you. If our team is playing get out there and support no matter what. Only people you hurt by not attending are your own !

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
