Not true

unfortunately, true - can't cite my sources because it might incriminate others, but the boy has a fractured ankle after a schoolyard mishap.

i'm sorry to bring forth the bad news, but i'm 100% correct.

Untill confirmed by the melbournefc i will try to ignore this.

Lets hope it's not true. If it is, isn't going to help him push for Casey selection this year.

no point in ignoring it - it's a fact.

the severity of the break is yet to be ascertained, but it did happen.

shocking thing, cos he's a great kid........

Broken ankle with the bone sticking through the skin....geez if true this could be very, very bad. Some people just don't recover from these types of injuries. Let's hope it's not too serious and th ekids can make a full recovery.

I hope to hell Jack Watts doesn't injure himself during HIS lunch break. In fact, take him out of school altogether - it's clearly too dangerous!

I'm saddened to hear this confirmed, yet relieved it's NOT AS BAD AS I FIRST THOUGHT.

I broke my ankle/lwr leg many years ago in a motor accident. I sustained a fully broken Tibia & Fibula from the accident. The Tibia (main bone) was shattered in 3 or more bits directly around the fracture site. I know a little about these Nathan Brown type breaks.

Sam Blease, if it is ONLY the Fibula, will be more than fine, he will be OK. The Fibula is not a load bearing bone.

Well, all there is to say now is, get well Sam Blease, & best wishes.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
