Kolt very Impressive, if you wanted a glimpse of why we took him at pick 14 then today he showcased exactly that.13 points

Childish and wildly unbecoming of a professional sporting organisation I know, but a big part of me wanted us to select the biggest meat-axe in Australian country footy in the mid season draft. Roll him out on King's Birthday, clearly unfit, slightly overweight, covered in prison tattoos and with no business being anywhere near an AFL list, just to end Maynard's career just after the first bounce with a despicable behind the play hit not seen since the early 80s. Then take his 20 week suspension, delist at the end of the year and we can all move on with our lives.13 points

I see Leigh Matthews has come out & said Melbourne should make Maynard's day hard tomorrow. As much as I would like to see something happen to him, we need to focus on actually winning. Not lose focus & give away any dumb frees. As I've previously said tomorrow our players shouldn't engage with him, don't speak a word, dig the knees into the back of him while flying for a mark & if they want to shake hands with him after the game just shake a little harder. That thug has his premiership so anything we do tomorrow won't hurt him. Plus you know he plays his best when players get under his skin. No need to fire him up11 points

For the 100th time, Tomlinson has no matchup. Pies have a small forwardline with their numerous injuries.10 points

[censored] these posts are tiresome. Do you say this in response to every word uttered by an MFC person after a loss? Goodwin’s fronted up to a pre-arranged interview and has answered a bunch of questions more thoroughly than he usually would. Including what may be the concession many needed to hear - that the changes we’ve made aren’t working and have robbed us of our identity. Literally no one reads these articles and goes “OK all is fine now”. We all wait to see what actually happens on game day. So FFS do we have to run the “talk is cheap” thing every [censored] time?10 points

The best stat today was clearances. Last week we got killed. Today Kolt & Sestan had 8 each and White 10 with Fullerton also making a significant contribution. Therein lies the secret, win the pill and get it out of the centre quickly.9 points

No, he's at a club that has three very good KPBs. He's shown he can basically only play lockdown defender, which means unless there is a third tall match up for him, he's not required. If you've seen Collingwood's forwardline lately, you'll know that they barely have one let alone three tall forwards. We need to go shorter.9 points

we need tholstrup and sestan to get bigger engines cos they have got the skills we want in the midfield in our senior side9 points

Was fritta there and was anyone holding an umbrella for him so he doesn't get his hair wet?9 points

Coach says nothing. Demonland: "Why isn't the club explaining what is going on? Where's our Comms Team?" Coach gives interview. Demonland: "Blah blah blah. Talk is cheap. Let's see some action."9 points

I remember bottom of barrel Pies in the final round of 2017 and QB 2021.8 points

The worst thing we can do tomorrow is focus on Maynard. He is the type of [censored] that thrives on this and fans will get behind him. Get stuck in sure but the fake tough jumper punching nonsense does nothing8 points

Well done to McAdam. He needed to go back and find some confidence. Clearly underdone and lacking in confidence at senior level, it’s nice to hear he went out and showed what he’s capable of. Needs another game or two at Casey to really solidify his own belief in his ability and his body before he comes back to the senior side IMO.8 points

who would want to be a head coach? Everybody reckons they can do your job better than you. Talk don't talk. play this game plan, don't play this gameplan, pick this player, don't pick this player. If i was ahead coach i would ignore everything external. Tell everyone to GF and leave me alone to get on with the job. Stand or fall by results. everything else is just noise/distraction8 points

Fullarton was good in the ruck in the last half of that quarter. No sign of "hates contact".7 points

Give Howes a chance he's only a kid and he's also done some good things he just needs experience.7 points

Well done WCW considering how cold and wet it is. Much appreciated and due to some hand surgery I am limited car wise. Many can live vicariously at track watch through your eyes. I hope you know what the selected team is before it is announced. I hope they don't sign a non-disclosure agreement.7 points

Thank goodness cox isn't out there. He always does something to max and I won't have to hear that stupid USA chant6 points

Woewoden and thommo very stiff. Laurie for me I just don't get it. Never seen him look like an AFL player but keeps getting the call up. Billings I thought we had seen the last of for a while. Hope I'm wrong but can't see him standing up in front of 80k on the big stage. Howes more mobile than thommo I guess. Not feeling enthused by these changes barring jvr.6 points

Is Tomlinson the biggest 'whipping boy' in the AFL? Outstanding against against StKilda a fortnight ago. Not great last week but had a plethora of mates. Fair enough Collingwood may not have the match ups but Turner and others are seemingly constantly forgiven. Adam has every right to be disillusioned.6 points

Woey is stiff but he has played full games at AFL level and been poor. The only time he has looked good is coming in a sub. The decision to give him a full game at casey is a good one imo5 points

No worries I might've taken it the wrong way! I like what I see from him personally but he's still probably 2 years off an AFL debut5 points

he gives up front position, is out-bodied by smaller oppo, and seems to lack game awareness frost, as a comparison, is a better 1:1 defender but tomlinson's brain fades aren't as glaring5 points

Given Casey plays this arvo, everyone training this morning will be in the team plus an emergency or 2. Just let us know who is or isn’t there from last weeks 23 please.5 points
