No surprise there.

I'd hate to know how you fill your day otherwise....

Well, we could make love...

Well, we could make love...

Imagine the offspring of YM & GOF...such enthusiasm but with a wise head on young shoulders!

As for Sunday I'm going like most of the faithful ...hopefully there are some new faces in the team to add a little spice to the occasion.

As much as the Dockers played well against the Cats, they have lost Carr and picked up a few niggles so I think we are a chance.

Famous last words ;)

have been to three matches at the G this year that have featured MelbourneFC... this could be my fourth but....

at the moment it is a toss-up between local footy (competitive) and the demons (non-competitive)...

a thought is to get to the G early, go in as an MFC member and p!ss off to local footy!!

i do not want another three or so hgours of my life i cannot get back, as already it is up to nine hours so far this season..

I really want to head down, but it doesn't look like anyone is willing to swap shifts with me.

It's going to be the first home game that I'll miss since I started buying a membership, ten years ago.

We absolutely need all the support we can get this week. It is essential that we break even in these matches because I personally don't want to have to sell anymore home games!

So if you're free this Sunday and you wake up and think "too cold", "can't be bothered", "we'll probably lose", think how much worse it would be if you didn't have the choice of going to watch our beloved club play at the MCG anymore.

Besides, as if you want to miss the lone-trumpeter show!

Absolutely! And i'll be buggered if i'll have my membership paying for the shortfall of a melbourne attendance, carn the dees!

That trumpter is the sole reason we haven't won games for the last 18 months.

Not that he can't play the song, but have him not play this week, and if we get up, put him in a box with the 70s red and blue jumper and Andrew Lamprill and never speak of it again.

Well im dragging 3 mates along...

Everyone try do the same, its easier then i thought haha

Yeah. Imagine if we all did this every week? 35 000 easy vs interstate teams. Then it could snowball. They would take people, then they might buy memberships, go to more games, etc. The gap would get smaller so quickly it would make the 'Pies heads spin!

I'll be there but hey, with the team just announced what is there to look forward to? More lost handballing, more ghastly turnovers, Robbo losing his feet, a couple of hundred interchanges, etc etc.

It would be great to see some young fresh talent let loose on Freo. And nice to see a game plan actually developing. I'm going with low expectations.. simply hoping not to lose by 100.

Tarant has been named in the Freo squad. That alone should provide us timeless entertainment & keep us in the game!!

Wrong. We'll make him look good, he'll prob kick 6.

The MFC owes you nothing you deluded man.

For someone who claims to be the best and greatest supporter of the MFC, you are nothing more than a whingy, gutless bandwagoner.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
