Cousins goes missing on streets of LA

I don't know what anyone else thinks, but this is getting quite sad now - COUSINS GOES MISSING ON STREETS OF LA

"Counsellors at an exclusive drug treatment facility in Malibu are scouring Los Angeles in search of Ben Cousins. Sources close to the Summit Centre in Malibu told The Australian yesterday the 29-year-old failed to check in, as scheduled, on Monday.

They say they are worried for his safety. 'No one has any idea where he is,' said a person with knowledge of the situation. 'He's got everyone freaking out because LA's not a good place to be out doing what he may be doing. I just hope nothing bad happens to him.' "

I think it's now clear that his attiction is at a stage where it's making him act in ways that are completely detrimental to his life. What seems stupid to us, seemed impossible for him to resist.

It's gotten to a truely sad stage now.

awwwwww....pooooooooooooor Benny gone woop woop !!

Benny went woop woop many years ago..lol.. he just kept hanging arond a footy oval thats all.

He must surely win the " Im an absolute self serving fwit " award for the year. I feel for his father. No one else.

Ben Cousins, a man of prodigious footbal talent but with a brain outclassed by a budgerigah !!

He maketh his bed....and so may he lay in it.

Im actually sick to death of hearing of this galah. Maybe he can do everyone a favour and completely disappear, into some abyss of self made destruction. He seems hell bent on it.

This is all his own doing. I hear all these bleating heart sob efforts of " we dont understand !!"

Bollocks to them..and bollocks to anyone who cant see Cousins for what he is....an absolute idiot , and one taking everyone for a ride , treating all and sundry as fools for their effort.

whether he's really missing or not...I couldn't give a fig..the guys's a joke !!

I'm shocked that this story may not be the total truth, really shocked........

Ben has been and probably is still a self destructive young man with a huge problem, of his own making, that he must get himself out of if he is to actually survive into his 30's, but the press will always want to print the worst no matter what because that is good copy and for he Ben has been and will continue to be great copy.

I read that piece and really couldn't understand why an organisation that would pride itself on its upholding of its clients privacy would be openly talking to a member of the press about the possible or unknown whereabouts of someone who they are meant to be treating, and that still stands even if he isn't actually there.

If he has gone AWOL then he is a fool, no doubt, but I am certainly not going to treat that article like gospel either.

I think his issues got there about two years ago and he has been behaving poorly for quite along time.

What is shocking is, this is still news, 90% of the population do not give a stuff about the issue or Ben Cousins, football season has finished life has gone on but the media have this idea that Ben Cousins is still news and it appears some on this site still think it is news, get over it folks and move onto another subject.

Exactly. It was the top story on Channel 10 news. That's right, the very first thing that was read out was about Ben Cousins supposedly going walkabouts.

It just baffles me how something such as this is somehow considered to be more important than a federal election or a murder.

I understand that Victoria is the footy capital, but even still..

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
