Handy point 🤣

Wow. On the screen just now was a note that Collingwood has won 12 of the last 13 matches vs the Crows. That makes this all the more SWEET 👏

Go Nibbler. ❤️💙

Right so odds of pendlbury being suspended for the shoulder to the head with about 5 to go in the last??

100000/1

The Foxtel commentators need to do a refresher course on impartiality.

Mark Howard "you live by the sword, you die by the sword" because a player got tackled.

He's worse than anything Hudson.

Can't we get AI to bring back Cometti and Morphett?

These yellers of hyperbole are just spewing verbal feaces.

And yes, autocorrect changed "Anthony to anything"

I think anything Hudson suits better.

I've had most games on mute or vol2 so far.

Dead set blows my mind how much I'm paying for this coverage

He's right to complain...it's just stupid to add another inequality to an already problematic fixture.

AFL 2026 feels like twenty twenty cricket but for longer. The loading stage of the season will be interesting.

Freo are still Freo, but having a game advantage makes Round 1 a joke. It’s a huge advantage.

Tell the Crows that and yes, I picked them.

Oliver is no longer an elite mid at this stage. It is a lose lose for GWS and the Dees. Perhaps he thinks he doesn't need to be elite anymore, he get a beaut pay packet from two clubs. If this is the case it is a pity. I wish him all the best except when GWS v DEES.

It’s not a loss for him. They got him for peanuts.

He’s not elite anymore but he plays well enough compared to having in a first year mid.

He also provides depth in a time where GWS has heaps of injuries.

We are the losers there, as we are paying financially.

Bizarre hes lasted this long. Imagine having height as your one wood.

Never been an OMac fan but it is an amazing effort for him to get to 95 AFL games

You say that but we wouldn't have had jack Steele if not for trading Oliver

Meanwhile Adelaide (in the exact same scenario as Freo) got the job done against Collingwood despite being outsiders.

If you’re good enough, you’re good enough.

Interesting comment by Longmuir.

1) they were one of the rare teams to beat a round 0 team in 2024.

2) in 2025 their opponent Geelong actually don’t play round 0 due to the canceled game in QLD.

3) you had big enough lead. It’s on you to protect a 6 goal lead.

I hope that's us later today...but it's a big ask particularly off a soft 1 1/2 preseason games.

...lets nail the Saints anyway.

Funny how the bottom 6 don’t play in the opening round and then the teams that do play the opening round usually win round 1

So mysterious

Only if you're playing a team who are playing their first match.

But doesn't have to be a huge advantage. Any advantage is an advantage. (Old Chinese proverb).

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
