A free to JVR who slots his first.

He's worked hard today for not much reward.

Not wishing to sound like a typical Melbourne supporter but who is 44 & why are they wearing a mask?

It's kentland and ge has a facial injury that requires extra protection.

LP got the moves

LSP!!!!!!!!!!

Takes three bounces, eludes two North defenders and finds Kentfield who kicks.......HIS THIRD!!!

Think he just came off for the day to run laps. Was solid for 3/4’s.

Would be great if one of them could kick given the game plan requires fast movement but the McDonald, Lever, Turner trio have defended very well as a unit.

How awesome is Latrelle?!!! Excitement machine.

Oh my.. we're going to be fun to watch this year..

Wow we actually seemed to have found players that can hit a target

And kick a goal

Breeze up a bit now, for what that's worth at this stage...

How are jeffo and Kolt doing???

My two biggest worries

Jeffo mostly unsighted sadly.

Kolt had some iffy moments early but has been ok since. Took a nice contested mark and goaled earlier in the quarter.

XTaylor is going to be a star. No room for him yet, but he is aware, courageous and has good skills.

Bit harsh playing 120 mins in this heat for their first hit out

Thought they were going to have restricted minutes?

If he is getting the ball more than in the past then that is a good start to 2026.

2018 aside, when was the last time we said this?

Well gotta reward form so Kentfield could force his way in, probably at Jeffo's expense!

2022 after the first 10 rounds

What are the odds of Howes getting a round 1 gig? I think he's been really good today playing as a winger.

Meanwhile, Sharp kicks a goal in this weird two-minute scenario thing.
