Good shout Gators

Byrnes highlights look waaaaay better than Dovaston's.. He looks like his skills could translate to AFL.

I doubt he would drift this far back but Noah Hibbins Hargreaves would be an unbelievable pickup with this selection.

Remind us why he's fallen?

I assume the NHH slide is due to the history of concussion?

Consistency of production and contested ball winning.

Well worth the risk for his upside for mine!

Consistency of production is a bit of a code phrase. Not many tough, contested ball winners have issues with consistency between games.

To all those fretting about our possible picks, I have a simple message.

Just trust Jason Taylor.

He and his recruiting team may not get it 100 per cent right every time but they come a lot closer than anyone else I can think of.

How extensive a history of concussion are we talking here?

No idea. Just know he missed games this year due to concussion. Would be a huge red flag for most I would have thought.

Agree. Don't forget this is expected to come in a fraction after academy/FS picks

Surely not another ruck..

Krasnadamskis! The perfect number of syllables for fans to yell out, a la "Jesaulenko, you beauty!"

Now becomes pick 30 and the fifth pick of the second night. Who do we go for, a midfielder?

Greeves, Phillipou or NHH at our 3rd pick would be great 🤞

hands free to dish the ball out when under pressure and importantly was hitting chests with his handballs they were accurate and intended.

That would be a great trait to have on our list. But would the receivers know what to do???

Saw that max Holmes has a brother in this years pool, maybe we get one this time round

some foot skills/speed if possible

midfielder seems the likely play here given how we selected early,

Sam Allen top of my list

LeRay, Swadling, Fincher, Hibbins-Hargreaves, Wright would be other names in the mix, don't think we'd go for Greaves or Onley

Maybe Thredgold if he got to us or an Ison bid would be possibilities too

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
