Farewell Clayton Oliver

Can't see how a 10 week hamstring is self inflicted when clearly he wanted to get back earlier ( remember the blowup with the medicos) or the badly broken hand that impcted half the season

I think he is referring to something else.

If you’re seriously asking…. And I surprised nobody has said this, but yes, he speaks very kindly about the Dees. He clearly has real affection for the time he spent with us.

I would’ve said this but I’m not as brave as you. Note how nobody has taken you to task for saying this? Unfortunately that wouldn’t be the case had I said it. But you’re right in what you say, 100% right.

You may be surprised to learn that most Dees fans couldn't give a toss whether he still likes Melbourne or not.

You’re kidding, right? Then how do you explain all the b!ttchhing and moaning about Clarrie not thanking us (publicly) and not saying nice things about our club.

Oh, there’s tosses being given.

Have you conducted a comprehensive survey Chook?

I assume Fox is wrong with that, I thought his contract stood with GWS only picking up a portion. First I have heard about Clayton taking a pay cut!

The actual story just talks about coming at a "discount." Pretty sure we're still paying half his contract.

Seems to be playing at a similar level to last year, granted..small sample size

Good luck to him, it's our fault we did not trade him for more value when we had the opportunity.

Pointing to an example of something happening is in no way shape or form an indication that most people are doing that thing.

He lost his touch, that occurred years ago.

Trac held back.

Both plainly obvious.

Ummm - so far, in the 3 top players on the ground....

I feel ok seeing Claz do well , but I didn’t enjoy Tracs performance at all.

Um just kicked the goal of the day... just sayin!

Are you watching or reading stats.

He is the same level as the last few years. One goal was good but a lot of luck went with it.

Haven’t seen anything like what Trac did. He’s miles off.

He’s playing well I reckon

He's playing a peak Oliver circa 2023-2026 game: good without having any real meaningful impact.

Petracca on the other hand absolutely monstered the Cats last night to a degree we haven't seen since the 2021 GF.

What, you mean like this? ⬇️

🤭

So he kicks that goal from the boundary, but last year against stkilda he kicks it out on the full from a better spot. Typical

Nice mature response from you. I’d love you to tell me though, why you think most Melbourne supporters care what Clayton Oliver thinks anymore?
