For the record, Windsor, Tholstrup, and Lindsay are all types of cheese. Harvey Cheese is also a cheese-maker in WA.

Few realise that our drafting is based on themes; all talls are based on US Presidents, mid-sized players are all cheese varieties.

I've asked Neil why he thinks this.

Ask Neil what the chances of both Trac staying and us landing Humphreys

There’s also King Island; hopefully there’s no relationship between that and Epstein Island.

I got home and saw that Humphries is trending #1 on X. I got excited.......

Turns out it's Isaac Humphries from the Adelaide 36s. Different spelling, but I feel like I just got trolled.

6 & 7 to Port for Butters who says no?

Of trac going turned into butters that would be the best outcome possible

Carrryst it isn't that hard Dees this is what I would do

1 Give GCS Till Monday to offer us Bailey Humphry straight trade for C.P

2 If they refuse then leave the meeting saying that we will NO LONGER DEAL with them over C.P

3 Start contacting other clubs and find out what is on offer

4 GCS will SHHHHHHEEEIT the bed and panic

5 Bailey Humphry becomes ours and if they don't do it C.P Stays

6 C.P GETS Back to GC and beseeches them to do the deal.

7 G.C Fold

NOW THAT IS AGGRESSIVE TAKE NO SHEEEIT NEGOTIATION!

When do I start???

Solid

Would the 36ers part with him for picks 7 and 8

Maffra a long drive from Melbourne. Wouldn't be making that drive if you weren't a decent chance of getting a deal done. 💎🙏🏻

Recruiters and list management fly all over the country to meet recruits.

Its standard.

I think it’s over (if it ever really began) 😢

Going to spend my weekend watching highlight reels of players tipped to go in the top 15 of the draft 🤣

With 5 days still to go.. some need to be more patient. Most likely going to be the last trade of the final day 😅

Maffra is not standard, or a FIFO town. It is a town you go to for a reason only.

FWIW, do not go there if you have no reason ppls. Trust me.

we’re going to have to be hearing strong noises from Humphrey over the weekend I reckon. If GC are adamant he’s going to have to raise the stakes.

This won’t suddenly come to a head on Wednesday. If nothing major over the weekend I’ll start to lose faith.

Come on Bailey. You’ll look ace in the red and blue.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
