Saying season best season for Salem is funny, can’t have much worse games with his season being rubbish.

Dunno why it took until the very last game of the season for Roo and Petty to start flying at every contest...

3 word summary of entire team - FORWARD LINE CONNECTION!!

There was at least 3 or 4 kicks into the forward line that, if they had hit their target, and that player kicked a goal, the Demons could of won!

Salem's disposals were accurate and well-judged, and far better than those of some of his teammates.

Thanks ' @joeboy ', for another season of 3 words.

Always the first thing and often the only thing I read after a game.

Much appreciated mate...

Bit harsh on Langdon. I barely noticed Nick Daicos apart from the flopping.

Mc Vee... out the door!

Petty...Not a forward

How can an enthusiastic observer be so unobservant?

Should Have Won

Yeh. For one game. Season I’m sure he’d want to forget.

Rivers Deer In Headlight

Does all the good things then doesn't know what to do,stops props indecisive equals turnover

Joeboy… very much appreciated 💕

The first thing I do on the train/plane home every week is read your analyses, it’s a must.

I especially understand what it’s like to submit regular posts only to at times be savaged, so please know you are muchly appreciated!

See you in ‘26 aka our annus mirabilis. 😉

Thank you Joe for once again this year giving us your player review after each match. I hope you will front up again in 2026. Demonland without you would be a serious loss. A parting comment on your last player “ dull as always” why he keeps getting games is beyond me.

I thought Rivers was really good ,still plenty of upside, only criticism and he isn't the only one would be lowering his eyes when going inside 50

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.

  • NON-MFC: Round 02

The compromised AFL fixture will get another test this week with the first lot of teams getting a bye after only two matches. Despite this Round 2 starts off with two cracking games as the Hawks host the Swans at the G on Thursday Night and then on Friday Night the Crows host the Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?
