It's like Salem and Bowey are TRYING to find bad options. Just take a breath fellas.

Embarrassing to let this joke of a team that can’t beat a wet paper bag carry on like they’ve won a flag. Disgusting

F%$@@ng pathetic. Thats disgusting

Another [censored] free kick

Our kicking and decision making. How we can continue to lack composure and replicate poor awareness is gut wrenching. Our unforced error and turnover numbers must be on world record pace.

Sinking mfcss feeling here

This is infuriating. We stand got nothing.

Game over lads - not coming back. Put the wine and cheese platters away, off to bed.

Yet, our club doesn’t call up 393 and SEN, we just accept it. At least Carlton fans care enough to be annoyed by their failures. We just expect it and the club does sweet FA to listen.

Just no energy and awareness.

So many games we just don’t show up at the beginning too. Some psych issues at the club for sure.

Watching footy is excruciating these days. We've entered the realm of sports entertainment where everyone is waiting to see how umpires interpret rules and it feels like outcomes are fixed. I'm not even complaining about Melbourne games - all AFL games feel wrong these days.

Maybe I'm just getting old and cynical, but I've watched 1000s of games and the game has never been worse.

This!

Stand!

50m!

What?! You’re arguing?! 1000m penalty !!!

26-16 cutrently

And a lot of [censored] frees in there for then

The change in umpiring has resulted since May’s bump!

We are not being given a fair crack at this. Classic corrupt AFL.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
