Four umpires… is there any other sport where two umpires make a different decision at the same time. One called mark and the other called play on, at the exact same time. What a joke.

Just have a relaxing read of Carlton's Big Footy site .

Thought I would share this eloquent line.

"Just because you roll the [censored] in some glitter near the end of the game doesn't stop it being a [censored]. "

( for censored read - " solid piece of fecal matter "

Fair call Ethan. We can only wait in joyful anticipation of the day when all four umpires make different decisions simultaneously !

Collingwood double the Saints free kick count

Josh Daicos just threw it out of a tackle inside saints f50. Play on!

It must be easy being a Pies supporter when you know it's always stacked in your favour

And AFL bosses love it

They’ve gone up a gear. Their pressure is off the charts. Geez I hope they can keep this up.

Um I started the FAICOS moniker, accept no imitations

And by the way soooo soft!

And now Collingwood will blaze away and end up winning by 10 goals. 🙄

Well that was a quick watch.
Just tuned in to see Collingwood take it from backline to mark and goal in about 15seconds.
Turned it off again.

If only Clarry got a free for every open palm to his chest. He was sprayed by the media as soft for going down after gut punches.

So why not walk up to the protected one at the start of the game and say 'I'm going straight through your sternum today'.

Then give away 5 free kicks at the next 5 clearances by absolutely belting the grub in the chest - like he did to Ed. He'll go down as he does, so make it hurt. He'll get his 5 free kicks anyway, so how about the old media style 'make him earn it'? If it's ok to smash Gawn in the head at every marking contest, fair is mother-you-know-whating-fair. Make the grub earn it.

Overall, I'm getting over footy, it's out of control. The ****ty niggle at every point is ridiculous. Every single time certain teams have an oppo player on the ground and the whistle goes - push in the back. It achieves nothing but the possibility of a free kick for retaliating. Pay frees against that rubbish. At one point today Jordon Sweet put a knee into Grundy's back after the whistle. Nothing to see.

Dodged a bullet on Houston, been awful this year

Will always be grateful we got Harves and X instead of that dud.

It's laughable how much the media is in bed with Collingwood, within minutes of the end of the Collingwood game, Fox Footy already have come out with a video launching a full force defence of Nick Daicos and complaining about him getting tagged.

I mean are you having a laugh, there is not a single other player in the league that would be defended in this manner.

Wasn't it the case that Port's thug like tactics on Max a couple of years ago were lauded by the media as a smart tactical move.

But no, as soon as you lay a finger on the golden boy you are consigned to damnation by the media.

They simply are not even trying to hide their bias anymore.

If he's not doing it, it's sidebum

Why have we reached a stage where Maggots and the Media are so compromised that even during games they are publicly humiliated.

Umpires errors form a major timespan of discussion on and off air while Media cliques are forming between groups of Media stalwarts and their buddies.

North Melbourne:

13.6.84

If they kick a little less accurate today they lose to Carlton.

One game where they’ve kicked more behinds than goals for their first 15 games.

ACCURACY is everything, Melbourne.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
