You know who I wanna see win?

Injuries. I wanna see injuries win. Not life-threatening nor even career-ending injuries and not necessarily season-ending. Just injuries that will have Collingwood players sidelined for KB. Is that too much to ask?

Agree.And a draw!

The pies are amazing by foot.

that first time when gary spoke no crowd noise, clearly at the studio. a league nrl and nbl have 100x better production embarrassing for the top sporting league in aus

Doubt it. Their microphones would have a small sound field to eliminate background noise. The crowd noise has always been a seperate channel.

Plus they were up on level 3 in the pre game.

Ditto but i couldn't give a FF what type they are (life threatening excluded) or which team.

I will cheers any with a nice raised tumbler o' JD Single barrel 100 Proof on the rocks

Very difficult to watch Pies v Hawks when both are so unlikeable. Both play a game style that is good to watch but they both have so many players who just give me the "jimmy brits".

You have to hard tag Sidey & Nick to have any chance of winning surely!??

I know Nick is a difficult option to do that but at least cover off old man Sidey

Nothing wrong with one of both I reckon. Will square the ledger.

Gunstan still has all the tricks and cunning ways that see him often make something out of nothing. Still a very handy forward.

The Hawks lack a genuine tall lead up key forward though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but we'd be death riding the Hawks in this game regardless of how much we Hate Collingwood?

I'm now flicking between the matildas & alexi popyrin playing in the French open.

I can't stand seeing the pies win. I'm already dreading next week

We're going to challenge the Pies far more than the Hawks are. You need an A grade midfield and a dominant ruck to challenge Collingwood. The Hawks have neither.

It's a pity our kicking was so bad against the Hawks a few weeks ago, we really should have won that.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
