Dunstall (prematch): “This game is huge!”

Huge? It’s 10th vs 14th.

Why can’t a game just be a game? I’d love to see a round where all nine games are just games.

Truth in advertising, eh?

“This game promises to be a bit [censored]”

Whose idea was it to let Chompers leave? Not looking at you Goody but FFS he is having a good season so far.

I think it was years of inconsistent performances and turning the ball over. Was dropped many times and decided to move on. Has been in and out of the dogs team but is doing well this year

Hope he keeps it up

This game is a joy to watch. JUH now just a distant figure in the Dogs rear view mirror.

Looks like he has got himself right this year which is good to see. A change of club and environment was exactly what he needed. Good for him.

This could not happen to a better team.

Can’t believe anyone has talked them up, even a little. Their last 3 wins have been a 2 point win against the eagles, 3 point win against the Roos, and an 8 point win against a really poor swans.

lol may the doggies feast all night 🤣

How do the bulldogs manage to regenerate & bring in new players whilst losing key players to challenge for top 4, So happy for Harmes, yet we kept Hunter & dogs would have been so happy!

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
