Any good though? Helpful or twos player?

In the same category as Rosas Jnr at the suns stats wise, maybe more effective at hitting the scoreboard.

hand in the cookie jar type stuff! Haha

Sounds like a great deal for us then tbh?

Petracca is bloody useless forward and whilst great in midfield and contest, can’t hit a target.

I see it as a win.

Imagine Trac getting sick of Clarry's antics and then landing JUH as a team mate

Only posters that have never moved jobs are allowed to have a pop at Trac.

Last year he went about it all wrong. Put everyone’s nose out of joint. This year he and the club are on the same page.

Nothing changes if nothing changes. Let’s get the best deal we can and let JT work his magic at the draft. We if we can land a couple of promising kids I’ll be happy.

Tbh I think 1st and future 1st works if crom take on his entire contract

Has to be at least one top 10 pick - Adelaide needs to figure it out.

That's where he will land IMO.

Hope the club stick to their guns and don't roll over on this one.

The fact he is even talking to other clubs is such an indictment on the MFC. Something is rotten at the club.

Every year every club has players looking around. You don’t hear about them all because most don’t have the profile of Trac. But it’s the reality.

Trac wanting out is as much about Trac as it is about our club.

I know everyone LOVES to pile [censored] on us, even our own fans, but sometimes players are not thinking about anyone but themselves. See also J McVee. See also Z Merrett. See also C Curnow.

Yesterday on the socials I saw Windsor and XL were already back training. Windsor cited wanting a bigger tank to play in the middle.

That's harsh. He had a horrible injury and both the team and his own form since has been frustrating. Then he loses the coach he loved. I sure hope he stays and sees what King can do. But people will often feel like a change. After a decade with a team a move to a new club and city might be incredibly beneficial - no different to one of us leaving Melbourne for rural Tasmania or Brisbane and going from stockbroker to florist.

Honestly, I think Trac’s issues are far bigger than one player. He and his entourage do not like our club. I know people will come here and dispute this and say he loves the club and the players, but his head has been turned. He looks down on us and thinks he’s better than what we have to offer him at this point in his career.

So frankly speaking, if his entire issue is our club doing what they thought best for the wellbeing of a champion player, he can enjoy the Barossa.

And he might be awfully disappointed to find out that ours is hardly the only club that panders to troubled stars. Maybe next time he’s cooking burgers with Dangerfield for a Coles ad he can have a chat to him about Bailey Smith.

I like your sentiment and I want him gone. However our club has made a meal of its stars and the list as a whole. This simply doesn’t happen at strong, well led and well run clubs. To me it looks like we haven’t been strong enough to stop the tail wagging the dog. Please move Richardson along because from the outside I’d say he’s part of the problem. let the broom finish its work.

Um Billy, i was being sarcastic. Players drive culture - good and bad.

Whoops 😂

Putting aside everything I think of him or his footy, to me this is an obvious 'Sell high' opportunity. I personally don't see Trac doing a Boak, Sidebottom, Danger etc. who thrive into their 30s.

I'm sure he's got at least a few great years in him but I'm happy to take that chance if our flag tilt looks to be a few year away. I know leadership is important in building that next team up, but I suppose the club doesn't think he provides that either.

Have loved your work over the years Trac, hope you find what you're looking for.

If it does go through I’ll take some small comfort in knowing that Trac has to live in Adelaide. I’ve never know how a city can be both “murdery” and boring at the same time.

Sorry good Dr ... how exactly is it all on us ?

He wants out. We haven't told him to go... unlike 🙄🙄

Have Tracc and Dees fallen outta love ? Well certainly looks like one's lost the ❤️

Just strikes me the club is trying to make the best fist of a situation its known about for some time.

Gold Coast is eager to add Petracca to its midfield and forward stocks, while the club is completing its research on Ugle-Hagan and his personal issues.

However, the Suns will not part with Bailey Humphrey in any Petracca deal.

Petracca is weighing up a fresh start at Adelaide next season in a deal which could involve the Crows’ pick 14 and a future pick from next year.

But the Demons are hoping the Suns will surge into the frame over the next few days as Hardwick’s men have a suite of better draft picks including 6, 13 and 16 to help satisfy Melbourne.

Petracca’s intentions are expected to become clearer by the end of the week.

And if he chooses Adelaide it will set the scene for a fortnight of tense trade talks with Melbourne as the Demons would likely consider pick 14 from the Crows as well as a future pick too little in a return for Petracca.

Melbourne will tell the Crows they do not want to trade Petracca unless it receives an offer it cannot refuse for the four-time All-Australian and two-time best-and-fairest winner.

But Melbourne will also have to weigh up whether it is simply better to cut the cord on Petracca under new coach Steven King in 2026 after the Demons refused to trade him last season.

If Adelaide is not prepared to pay all of his wage - forcing Melbourne to still chip in some of his salary at a new club next season - the Demons would certainly ask for a better return on the picks.

It means at least one more club may have to get involved in the Petracca deal if the Demons target a top-10 pick in the trade which Adelaide currently does not have.

The future of hard nut Crow Luke Pedlar is the curve ball as the goal kicking playmaker is interested in more midfield opportunities after playing mainly forward in 2025.

Pedlar, 23, has been hard hit by injuries at Adelaide, limiting him to only 39 games in five seasons.

The man taken with pick 11 in the 2020 draft, from Mt Gambier, could emerge in trade discussions along with full back Jordon Butts.

Butts, 25, is a free agent next year and could become a target for Melbourne if the club deals premiership defender Steven May to Collingwood.

The Demons conceded the seventh-most points in the AFL this season and are eager to improve their defensive record under new coach King next season.

But the Crows have not yet shown any interest in trading either Butts or Pedlar and would likely try and complete a Petracca deal with Melbourne with picks only.

I knew I had to marry my first wife in order to get rid of her. Sometimes, there are just processes that you need to follow.

It feels like we're gently pushing Petracca to a new home, because we know the fresh air will make things better in the long run.

Unless, you're in the club 24/7 it's hard to know.
