My heart will break if this boy leaves

Lyon's big bomb at Waverley stands out.  Big goal in a big game

Hey mate, love your videos.

A few requests that are no doubt already on the radar.

Hunts 70+ metre torp (should have been GOTY)

Daveys triple baulk vs Freo in the comeback game.

Yzes banana from the wrong pocket

T-macs kick over his head vs West Coast.

Pretty much any goal by Gawn vs Geelong.

Cheers mate.

These were greats, no doubt. Looking forward to seeing some of the Ox, more of Liam J, and Stan Alves from way out there.

The Wiz’s 100m dash and goal at Waverley against the Hawks in 98

Jeffo's first goal please!

Windsor's goal to open the third quarter was also a cracker!

The second instalment of 'The Greatest Goals' will be premiered live on YouTube tonight at 6:00!

By the way, love the new forum look!

Brilliant compilation. Even as a dedicated Demon fan, I've never seen some of these gems before.

Speaking of, how good was Darren Kowel's goal at 16:30?

Thanks so much for this. So many memories and so many great players ❤️💙

It's been a lil' while between drinks, but volume 3 of 'The Greatest Goals' is finally here!

Some highlights include

  • Aaron Davey's mid-air soccer goal

  • Dean Kent's remarkable running goal to pinch the lead against the Bombers

  • Cam Pedersen's boundary line brilliance against the Blues

  • Jeff Farmer doing Jeff Farmer things

  • Kozzy Pickett's running goal in Hobart against the Roos

  • Mitch Hannan's Elimination Final heroics (no titanic music, sorry!)

Enjoy!

Thank you for the great job doing this. I have watched the first two, and enjoyed them. Looking forward to watching the new one.

Another stunning collection! This is a gargantuan sized project. I can't imagine the work that goes into organising and editing these!

Loved the inclusion of Lever's first goal with us. Not the most flashy of the bunch but extremely memorable nonetheless!

Volume 4 of 'The Greatest Goals' is finally upon us!

Some highlights include

  • David Schwarz kicking three brilliant goals in a quarter against the Swans

  • Max Gawn's Prelim masterclass

  • Weird Al Jakovich giving his brother a big smooch on the cheek

  • Adem Yze defying all mathematical logic against Freo in 2007

  • TWO Jack Watts matchwinners

  • "THE WIZARD IS IN TOWN!!!"

  • TMac's Perth Matchwinner!

As I look at my excel spreadsheet featuring over 550+ goals from over 150+ different players, trust me when I say there is still A LOT of incredible goals still yet to featured, so stay tuned for more over the next month or two!

There are two more instalments to come which will be followed by a 'complete edit' featuring all 550+ goals (plus some new ones that I've found 😈).

Happy viewing!

The Melbourne Demons 'Greatest Goals' series rolls on with its FIFTH and BIGGEST instalment to date! With over 100 goals included, there's no shortage of Demon talent here!

Some highlights in this edition include

  • David Neitz bowling over Luke McCabe

  • Jayden Hunt's legendary N.T torpedo

  • Jack Watts Queen's Birthday epic

  • Jordan Lewis' near identical goals in his 300th game

  • Jeff White's sealer against the Dogs in '05

  • Bayley Fritsch's boundary dribbler against the Cats last season.

Only one part of the series remains! Rest assured, there's still plenty of stunning six pointers I have in prepared (including all 21 goals from the 2021 Grand Final!) If there are any goals I've overlooked over the first five instalments of this series, feel free to let me know! If they're not already planned for 'Volume 6', I'll be sure to include them in the COMPLETE edition coming later this year!

Two goals that pumped me to fever pitch, to the point where I wanted to run onto the field and play:

  • Neitz crunching McCabe then swinging round to drill it

  • Travis Johnstone dobbing it from 50 on the angle moments after Matty Whelan poleaxed James Hird in the Essendon final.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
