I’m not mates with Ryan Daniels and I could’ve told you that. He’s spoken about it on his podcast.

apparently there are at least a couple vic clubs that are interested in Darcy, Carlton and Essendon being main ones. His contract is only in the 700s so I think they’ll be able to trade him and his contract out pretty easily

You're probably right, but the talk about his family issues is 100% correct

Stolen about 300k from him apparently. But Freo has every right to say too bad here’s a financial advisor stop giving your parents the password to your bank account

Also offering JVR is like when Freo supporters were offering up Switkowski for Kozzy.

They’ve got Amiss, Treacy, and now Voss all 22 and under playing KPF

Tha5a what I would do too, and i think it's probably the most likely outcome.

But a lot depends on whether Jackson really wants out.

If he Jackson is afamant he want out, they of course can play hard ball and keep him to his contract, but that would be a risk because nor every player is a Lachie neale which put there head down and continues to play elite footy

no, i thought the reports were that darcy's previous contract was around $700k and his current contract was around $1m a year

i mean...who knows ultimately

yes, that has been the rumour that has been going around

pretty full on

Well not really because the better he plays the more he will be worth at the trade table.

Of course one has to ask themselves, how can a club with net zero forwards, trade away their only consistent goal kicker?

*Kosi excluded as he will play more midfield as time goes on

He'll be worth more, but I'd be less inclined to trade him as one of our three consistent goalkickers, alongside a 438 year old Melksham and Kozzy.

That could be the case, but only if LJ agrees to stay.

Until we actually know his real intentions, it is all speculation.

I am pretty confident TL and JT know his intentions.

Why so keen on Jackson? He's good, but I'd prefer McVee, and I believe JVR is going to be epically good at some point.

Who cares about Jackson. Don't throw out the team mix we have now. Jackson left us. We shouldn't beg steal and borrow to get him.

What if its true that he wants to come back for his missus and back to Victoria to the MFC?

You would have to have rocks in your melon to not entertain this.

The playing leaders of the club i.e Gawny, JV7, Tmac, Rick and Goody would know 💯 if this is a real outcome.

As Goody mentioned in his parting words when Jacko was traded "the door is always open to the MFC for Jacko".

They keep in touch, the leaders know where this all stands.

If its real i hope we act on it and bring him back.

Lmao, Ryan Daniels ain’t a Fremantle employee. He would know jack.

Dan Houston and Barrass literally said categorically 110% they would not be leaving their clubs and were traded 3 months later. 🤣🤡

Just passing on what I'm told and he absolutely has good contacts in Perth.

Obviously it may change, but I think as it stands Freo won't agree to trade him and would rather move on Darcy if there's a taker. Most likely Geelong given their constant ruck issues.

Yep Riv would be in the mix.

I think Riv + F1 is a fair trade to be honest. a walk up HB /. midfielder and a first round pick which to be honest could be anywhere from Top 5 to late first round

Announcement of Kozzys signing liked by Dogga’s missus on Instagram. Looks like a fait accompli to me.

We know you want too Jacko...

One of thr best and well connected journo's going around. Strike rate is pretty high.

He knows how [censored].

It’ll be a real test for player power because there is no way freo do this willingly.

YEs and No. If there are genuine circumstances for Dogga to be in Victoria, partner etc. Keeping him to his contract can actually be detrimental. They can absolutely hold him to contract now, he then is forced to be separate from his GF, which can cause some issues for him that translate to performance on field. This can then drop his trade value significantly (not comparable but you just have to look at Olivers value now vs 2 years ago).

Now i know jack all about his situation, but if his partner was intent on moving to Vic and they are faced with the proposition of leaving apart, then going by Dogga history, will be impacted. How much? who knows. I'd do the deal now where he can command 2 first round picks.

  • PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

With both sides precariously positioned ahead of the run home to the finals, only one team involved in Sunday’s clash at the Adelaide Oval between the Power and the Demons will remain a contender when it’s over.  On current form, that one team has to be Melbourne which narrowly missed out on defeating the competition’s power house Collingwood on King's Birthday and also recently overpowered both 2024 Grand Finalists. Conversely, Port Adelaide snapped out of a four-game losing streak with a win against the Giants in Canberra. Although they will be rejuvenated following that victory, their performances during that run of losses were sub par and resulted in some embarrassing blow out defeats.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • PREGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons are set to embark on a four-week road trip that takes them across the country, with two games in Adelaide and a clash on the Gold Coast, broken up by a mid-season bye. Next up is a meeting with the inconsistent Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
