I've had a lot to do with him - yes

I know so little about him… what are his best attributes and do you think he can step straight in ?

culley was signed by casey for season 2025

the only way he'll be leaving would, i assume, be if he gets a call up to an afl list

AFL article notes West Coast (now) and Carlton still to fill spots...

You’d expect that to be the case but if he decides he just wants to be playing local footy I doubt Casey can force him to play up a level. Similarly if he suddenly decides SANFL or WAFL are in his best interests would Casey block him? I’m not convinced state league contracts are rock solid. And it’s a hard rejection to bounce back from when at least if Jon Ralph is to be believed (and he shouldn’t really be) he was very close to the list spot.

Fair to say Casey will be strong this year.

Small forward/mid with good goal sense, smarts and tackling.

Lacks stand out attributes to be a big difference maker but can come in and do a role from day 1 if he’s had a good summer VFL training at a high enough level.

With Pickett’s suspension, Spargo still injured and Kolt injured there’s going to be opportunity.

Yep - that's what I thought. But when you think about it, probably easier to break into Eagles line-up/security going forward?

He is a country boy so a move won't affect him, but certainly his life is here atm...
Got my fingers and toes crossed!

Great insight mate and thanks for sharing the information.

has been training with West Coast so youd think his conditioning would be ok in terms of AFL level

He’s only been there for a week

Welcome Jack. Per the SSP contenders thread he was my preference based on list need and ability to impact short and medium term. Is too good not to be given an AFL chance. Reminds me a lot of Kane Lambert in how he plays.

Lucky we can still convince a player to sign on😂

Would love to see him against North👌

I completed this year's training last week as well.

I’ve got a little family connection to Jack as well so rapt to have him at the Dees.

Fitness won’t be an issue, he’s an elite runner and has kept himself ticking over in the off-season.

Club have earmarked that ANB high half forward spot as his role.

Our righteous opinions of the media's 'information' and accuracy don't need this at all!

I'd welcome a win in our first game against GWS by any margin ... even a Bee's D.

I just watched the highlights reel and he reminded me straight away of Nibbler and his run down tackles and opportunistic goals. An important role to fill. All the best to Jack!

Was Roy an option here?

Can't recall seeing much of Hendo and what he brings.

Roy is magic and just needs to get to AFL levels of fitness or close to it surely?  Is he still an option somehow?
