as long as pear or bloods win the grand final, all good from my perspective

i really don't want the puddy tatts to make the grand final, but i suspect they're going to win the entire thing

Sydney and Geelong both winners. Would love to see the bears beat geelong though.

The last time I didn't watch a grand final was 2022.

This year I might not even watch the prelims.

Just no interest in any of the teams left.

hopefully swans get up and cats lose. can't stand port, cats or lions (mainly due to zorko and their [censored] against petty a few years ago).. joe is a weird unit, be funny to see him in the GF.

If it's Port v Geelong there will be another hole in my wall.

Carn the Lions!

I'll dead set spew if the Cats win their 5th flag in 17 years

Keen for a Brisbane V Sydney GF. Get the flag out of VIC so it's out of sight out of mind.

I don't mind Port as a side but I don't trust them in putting in a decent GF.

After the way Ken Hinkley was treated over the Weekend, i actually hope he becomes a Premiership Coach.
$20,000 Fine in response to a Spoilt Brat who can do what he wishes.
Don’t get me started on Sam Mitchell, Crocodile Tears flowing…

As much as I like the Swans to win this year’s flag (and then disappear next year like the last two AFL premiers), I’ve just recovered my urge to do some death riding.

If Port Adelaide can reproduce the form of Round 21 against the Swans, our current pick 38 will shoot up the charts to pick 36. Who knows what that little extra edge might deliver us in the hands of JT (in who we trust)?

5th flag in 17 years………….pathetic. It only took Fish Creek 9 years to accomplish the same feat (well actually only 7, given 2020 & 2021 were wiped out due to Covid).

Premiers in 16,17,18,23 & 24. Making for a total of 38 senior premierships 💪💪💪

Throw in hopefully the announcement soon of the MFC training base, and I honestly could not give a brass razoo on who wins this years AFL GF (but agree, Geelong falling shy would be the outcome everyone hopes for)

honestly, what is fishys secret?

Like many others I have Sydney v Geelong in the Grand Final but I have a sneaky feeling that the Lions are really going to run them tomorrow night. The results may not show it but I do feel that Brisbane have adapted their gameplan to suit the G better in recent years and if they look to sling it from half back they could catch the Cats off guard.

Although the Port game was a good spread of goalkickers I still feel that Cameron needs to kick a bag for Geelong to win games like this. Brisbane's forward 50 can be death by 1000 cuts.

Don't really like any of the teams left in it, especially Cats and Swans. Probably Brisbane now for Fagan.

Are there finals still on? I thought the season had ended.

Wayward kicking for goal, dump kicks inside 50 and some baffling umpiring all contributed to the Dees not getting out to an an early lead that may have impacted the result. At the end of the day the Demons were just not good enough and let the Hawks run away with their first win against the Demons in 7 years.

  • NON-MFC: Round 09

Round 9 kicks off out west with the Dockers hosting a Collingwood side resting several stars. Fremantle need to make a statement on their home deck after some disappointing form on the road, while the Magpies will be keen to maintain their Top 2 position. Friday night sees a must-win clash between two sides desperate to stay in touch with the eight. St Kilda have shown glimpses while Carlton are clinging to relevance after a flat start to the season. Saturday’s twilight game at Marvel pits the Bombers against a struggling Sydney outfit. Essendon can’t afford another close match against a lower-ranked side, while the Swans risk sliding down the ladder even further. Up in Darwin, the fourth-placed Suns will look to extend their stay in the top four. The Bulldogs have hit their stride with three big wins on the trot and will be very keen to consolidate on their momentum. The always fiery Showdown looms as pivotal for both clubs. Adelaide are eyeing a spot in the Top 4 with a win, while Port Adelaide’s season could slip away if they drop another game and fall further behind the pack. Sunday begins with a yawn fest between Richmond and West Coast. The Tigers need to bank the points to stay clear of the bottom two, while the Eagles are still chasing their first win of the year. The Giants face one of the league’s toughest road trips as they travel to GMHBA Stadium to face the Cats. With GWS at risk of a third straight loss, Geelong will be eager to consolidate their position inside the eight and start their climb up the ladder. The round wraps up with the top-of-the-table Lions heading to Ninja Stadium to take on the second-last Roos. The Lions should easily take care of the struggling Roos who might be powerless against the best in the comp. Who are you tipping and what are the best results for the Demons?
