KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!

Or is he? Not according to Kano.

You don't need to be Nostradamus to know that this is going to bubble to the surface multiple times over the length of the contract.

The big issue is what else we will throw his way to keep him happy if we're not sniffing finals in the next few years.

Wouldn’t give this much energy, heard it live and it was a very nothing line from Kane, wasn’t something he spent more than 3 seconds thinking about tbh.

Yikes…

it’s no secret he loves the club but not the city and it would definitely be a hard spot to be in.

You realise this is a positive right?

He told the club he wanted to join Fremantle end of 2024 🔒 Great how things have panned out though

Bit of a crossover here, although there isn't an exact parallel between Kozzie and Jessie, but going home isn't always what you think it might crack-up to be:

Not a huge Peter Bell fan after everything that has gone on, but got to say that he expresses a pretty honest and not exactly sled flattering reflection on the past here.

Not from me.

I posted that Kozzy asked to be traded to Fremantle. The club said no. He did some soul searching before he re-signed. His partner is very happy in Melbourne and very close with her sister.

Yep, definitely remember you saying this at the time mate.

Melbourne the city has become a fairly difficult place to live in. Traffic, housing, cost, crime, constant construction. I’ve no doubt that’s double for a guy like Koz. We’re lucky he stayed and he’ll earn every cent of that contract. If he does stay and we can reach the top again I’ve little doubt he’ll play a very significant part.

Can vouch for this - only because my brother dodged any questioning around this. It seems they had a go end of 23 and 24

Very honest but I think the thing missing here is that they chased him from the moment he signed with Melbourne. They were relentless in trying to get him back, like they were with Jackson. And then to not have done the background work to realise that Perth wasn't good for him, or to put whatever needed to be in place, means it was absolutely a poor trade.

It seems like a massive lack of due diligence to me.

Did anyone else just hear Garry Lyon on radio with some news on Kozzie being in Darwin for a family/personal issue?

I caught the end of it only, but I heard he missed training yesterday, is expected to be back on Thursday but it’s delicate.

What happened?

According to Garry, Kossie has followed his partner to Darwin to try to retrieve the situation. MFC are expecting him to return on Friday.

Really sad to hear Kozzy & Ardu have separated. She was instrumental in Kozzy resigning and is a known lover of Melbourne, the club and town.

Hopefully some spiritual reconnection in Darwin, her family home, can assist.

Glad to hear the club is supportive and flexible. I’ve got no doubt he will play and this would be her wish.
