The worst interview from a ''leader'' I've heard.

She's completely out of her depth.  Hopeless is a word that comes to mind.

How she hasn't been around to Petracca's parents house weeks ago is utterly extraordinary.

To think the leader of the club hasn't even bothered to speak to one of our best players of the last 50 years when they're disgruntled beggars belief.

She also thinks a club review isn't required.

I'd remove her straight away if I had the power.

I wasn't overly sympathetic to Petracca, but after that interview I have more questions than ever.  And indeed more sympathy for Petracca than I had.

100% agree with you there. The last thing we need is a board challenge that spills into an ugly Days of Our Lives drama. We have enough of that going on already.

But equally just complaining on SEN and Demonland is not going to make a difference to a board that seems completely incapable of taking ownership of anything. 

I know there are posters on this site who would have some pretty powerful connections inside the club, and even within the board. Wonder if passing along the general feelings of our most passionate supporters to them, would at least trigger some sort of fire for meaningful change, or at least an admission of failure.

You see this at numerous clubs, the token former player on the board to supposedly give it some credibility while actually contributing nothing.

That one hit me immediately. Poorly chosen wording perhaps, potentially suggesting interstate players get homesick, but given she was getting increasingly rattled at the time, I'm not sure that was the case.

Absolute train wreck… she claims we love Trac and throw our arms around him, yet not talking to his family!! She needs to understand what a marquee player is. 
Talks about understanding the issues, but hasn’t spoke to Christian. 
She 100% has to go. She is a scar on the club.

We won a flag on the back of Peter Jackson and Paul Roos - they turned us into a destination club. Enough smarts in the coaching box (Yze) to help Goodwin get over the line, and the best fitness/high performance bloke in the land (?world) in Burgess.

We now have amateur hour at the top (mistaking corporate speak for leadership), coaching stagnation, and serious concerns about fitness/high performance.

Turn back the clock. 

How did we let it fall so fast, so quickly?

I think this is two fold- not being in constant contact with Trac and his folks during the first few weeks and since word has come out that he is unhappy is unacceptable from our leader. 
But to go on live radio radio when the Trac story is the main topic of discussion and not having the intelligence to think that you

1- should speak to the Trac beforehand 

2- know that you would be asked if you’ve spoken to him. 
shows she has NFI what she’s doing.

Not even a marquee player- any player or staff that ends up in ICU due to a work related incident should have the club leader get in touch and offer support. That’s what a good culture is all about. Offering support in times of need.

Stupid to use 'they' when you are talking specifically about an indigenous player. Think it was just ineptitude, but you can bet a big deal will be made of it. Just another element of what was a PR calamity
