On the back of not putting a HARD TAG! CAARRYST !! It aint rocket science!! Goodwin needs to go!

I'd thought the bont deserves it more, specially if the Bulldogs finish top 5.

Bont definitely more deserving.

This is genius by Goodwin, very subtle way of getting us that better draft pick. Like a professional move taking the ball over the boundary line without getting pinged for deliberate.

Treloar will take votes off the Bont.

I see a clear and obvious best on ground.

You see what you want to see, but I think you're in denial.

I am not saying he is not a great player. But there are others that deserve a Brownlow, not only this year but for many years now.

Besides, when he is properly tagged with lot of physicality not so great. Unlike others like Bont or Heeney

Who cares. It’s a popularity contest.

3 votes N Daicos

was clearly clearly best on ground

runs runs runs

uses the footy to perfection

80% disposal efficiency

40 possessions

one grab player  no fumbles

does not slip over

uses footy to advantage of next player … not to their feet … not behind them

DOESNT EVEN TRY TO KICK WITH HIS OPPOSITE FOOT EVER

massive score involvement

massive metres gained

accelerate into space

zero defensive game but who cares !!!!

I hate the pies

I hate the pies

but Nick Daicos plays the game with such composure and smarts.

our mids could learn 10 things from this kid

Might be all this but WE LET HIM RUN RIOT

Down to Goodwins Coaching!

Look at the list of Brownlow winners and look at how Carey and Buddy haven’t won one and consider if it really matters

We bag the umpires all year then wait for their judgement

80 plus possessions between Nick and Josh, and we didn't lay a finger on either all night. Teams must love playing against such a clueless, half hearted group.

I know a hard tag is not fashionable but here’s the thing, it’s usually effective.

And tonight when our midfield stocks were down maybe give them a chance by tagging at least on Daicos.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
