Well, we have another development in trade circles. A source inside an AFL cheer squad claims the Tiger Army is heavily targeting a member of the DA and Demonland for training reports.

It hasn't been a joyous year at Tigerland and Punt Rd isn't the easiest training ground to present a training report to footy fans from. They are looking for someone to bring upbeat reports and not necessarily football observations and they do need some much needed laughter after a very unlucky first year at the helm for Ooze. Initial reports had the Tiger Army targeting one @picket fence for his ability to negotiate tricky terrain around fences. The deal was almost sealed, but at the last minute the deal was shut down by the fan forum PUNT ROAD END as most of its members are susceptible to CAPS.

Attention quickly turned to star giant head holder, banner maker and track specialist WCW. A record long-term deal has been offered to lure WCW over to the Tiger Army.

Andy and the Demon Army have been contacted for comment.

More to follow.

Don’t believe a word of this. It’s rumour and gossip and I know where it’s come from.

We make a joint Anzac Eve banner with Richmond every year and this year we made it at Punt Rd.

As I was entering the building I heard a rustle in the bushes by the door. It was dark so I couldn’t make out what it was. I thought it was a rat. Turns out it was Tom Morris, so yeah, it was a rat.

He knew I was there solely for the joint banner but now he’s spinning it as I was touring their facilities. Which I definitely WAS NOT doing

Picket Fence would chew them up and spit them out whole.

Well played DZ!

Not the first time one of ours failed an 11th hour medical at Punt Rd...

The Tigers have been told in no uncertain terms that there is NO DEAL to be made unless Jefferson comes over too

I hope Punt Road End's server is big enough to handle a daily ALL CAPS meltdown about his non selection

I think we need to be wary about this one. Two way trades often end up with sweeteners involving a third team. I'm nervous that to make it happen Richmond's doorman will end up at Essendon and we'll get Adrian Dodoro.

I’ve heard @dazzledavey36 has offered to represent said person and is happy to accept a late fifth rounder.

A late fifth rounder would be fantastic… I’ve heard he’s happy to accept a bag of chips. And it doesn’t even have to be salt n vinegar.

Softened by the recent decade under Hardwick and Peggy O'Neal, Richmond supporters may be in need of leadership figures to teach them to one again pour visceral hate upon senior club figures and restore their traditions of cyclical rout and ruin.

Applicants should have own trailer and microwave.

Gross.

Leave me out of this one please.

Where there’s smoke there’s fire.
Richmond voluntary moving to Hobart to become the Tassie Tigers, with MFC to acquire Punt Road as HQ and training ground.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
