Of course you are. You would have nothing to post about otherwise.

I wish we could ignore these clickbait articles.

Well that settles it then.

Melbourne has been assured by Kysaiah Pickett’s management that he is content at the Demons despite continual approaches from clubs across the country.

Pickett signed a new deal last April until 2027 and while he has spent time in Adelaide and West Australia growing up he does not consider either of them his home town.

Clubs including Port Adelaide have recently again upped the ante as they attempt to bring him back to the state where he lived with his uncle, Power legend Byron Pickett, for a time as he approached draft age.

But his manager Peter Rohde confirmed on Tuesday he had spoken with Melbourne football boss Alan Richardson as recently as Tuesday morning to assure him there was nothing to the speculation.

Pickett loves the city of Darwin and its tropical weather as an escape from the bitter cold of Melbourne’s winters.

But unless the AFL fast-tracks a 20th team into the Northern Territory before he retires, he will remain with Melbourne for the foreseeable future.

All Melbourne players have been disappointed with their response to a pair of straight-sets finals departures, flat they could not put together a deep finals run.

But as the Demons prepare to take on Collingwood in their round 24 clash on Friday night, his focus is on fulfilling his contract.

Ironically Pickett has just been spruiking the city in a fashion shoot for the City of Melbourne for splashed across his Instagram pages.

He and partner Ardu welcomed their first child in April this year, with Pickett enjoying a solid but not brilliant season with 34 goals after 40, 41 and 37 majors in his past three seasons for the Demons.

In other really cool news, even though Ed Langdon just signed a new contract, he will put his hand up for a Mars based team if the AFL brings one in..

He was born in WA raised in SA went to boarding school in SA but wants to go to the NT? Yeah right

I read somewhere there were 1600 accredited footy journalists and only 730 registered AFL players

1600 people trying to be relevant. We thought last years off season was long......

I'm quite partial to Paris in the spring.

Kosi and I are therefore both leaving.

I do not want to live in a universe where this eventually occurs. Every aspect of my life is filled with either Crom or Pear [censored] and I would have to go live in a cave somewhere. Curse my parents for moving to this hellhole in my teens.

Sounds like you need a raDeecal change of scenery.

Man the journalists now are f’ing hilarious. Kozzy would leave… if a fictional team arrived in the Northern Territory.

Wait no longer.  The request has been made.

Go home.  The other trolls are finding life under the bridge a bit lonely without you.

I’m sure clubs show interest in gun players all the time. I would be surprised if we hadn’t enquired on Butters for example

But you know, Kozzi just signed a 4 year deal so close thread thanks

Port Adelaide Chasing Kozzy Again

The best backmen in the game can't catch him - what chance a lumbering edifice?

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
