Trac knows well enough that his brand will return if he lands at another big club with adoring fans ... it is all about money ... it is all about money outside of footy and after footy ... "let the place burn" gee if that's what he said its just terrible ... kids that adore him are listening to this and he just doesn't have the awareness it seems

This is why picks are better - if Trac goes like this then we need to start again with a new group as we're not going to be able to attract anyone of note.  Our kids are good - we add a few more the next two years and it will turn around.

Maybe there is a stalemate and radio silence from both player and club because the issues  (aka “grievances”) run very deep and touch on matters that are the subject of current or future legal proceedings and neither party wants to go there. I have no idea but I can’t for a second accept that the current strategy of Trac is the result of professional/paid advisers.

He's not being paid $10,000 by the Australian Egg Council to link to a post cooking a frittata. 

It would obviously be appealing to be doing social media stuff compared a grueling recovery process and slogging his way through another pre-season, especially after his serious injury, but I think he's being lured by easy cash now and not understanding his brand isn't all that special to begin with and is currently being tarnished beyond repair.

I started eating a salmon dish he recommended and it called for a lot of butter. Then recently I was diagnosed with high cholesterol and have since gone on medication. I will be suing his brand I think

As someone who works in this space I would say that without his footy talent his cooking stuff is pretty average at best. He’s not particularly charismatic on camera and offers really nothing unique or compelling in those videos aside from “footy player who also cooks food.” Without the footy, “brand Petracca” is pretty bland.

I find that Barrett article disgusting. One thing for us fans to have opinions without knowing the full story but for a brazen character attack like that to come from the AFL media is vile. 

Doesn't even matter if there might elements of truth, Trac has been one of our own and is clearly going through some sort of identity crisis in the wake of his life threatening injury.

I have no doubt that the club doctors followed procedure on the day. I have no doubt they did all assessments and procedures before sending him back on the field. 

I would imagine* that while he was off the field the doctors would have been going by what CP5 was telling them. Was the pain located to one spot? was the pain of the ribs more than the pain of the lung/ spleen? I have no doubt that the conducted other assessments, but mostly they would have been based on what CP5 was telling them. The docs dont have the luxury of scanners etc on the boundary/ in the rooms. 

I possibly came off with a 10/10 pain, perhaps that subsided after a short time to a 4/10 pain, and the conversation of giving him pain relief came up. perhaps after this the pain became a 2/10 and CP5 was sure he could go on and play. I imagine he ran at 50%- 80%-100%, did squat jumps and whatever other warm up exercises required before saying he was right to go back on. I imagine that the docs are assessing him the entire time too. 

I imagine after a short time, body contact, running at 110% the pain came back to being 10/10 and he came off the ground.

I think I read that it was a second round of scans at the hospital the the true extent of his injuries came to light.

There was a review of what happened and the AFL have ticked it off. Could CP5 request a review and make changes to the rules for injured players across the league to make change, yep he could, and he still might be the catalyst for this .

Has he been through a traumatic experience, absolutely, but reading through the [censored] tonight, it feels like he is more traumatised by his families reaction to his situation and that he "may not have made it" than he is to the injury itself. 

Was the clubs reaction the same as his families?

Did they stay at the hospital/ follow up with visits/ calls/ texts? who knows, doesnt sound like they went above and beyond. Should they go above and beyond, [censored] yeah, blow smoke up the guys [censored], do whatever is needed to make him feel loved.

Tracc returned to the ground after JVRs goal, and walked up to join the centre square trio of Max, Oliver and Pickett. 

Max gave him the faintest low-five; no contact or reaction from the other 2.

It appeared no-one bothered to ask him how he was.
