And toss in some bagpipes for good measure!

If some supporters on here think we're  bad at turning on our own players go and read the Lachie Schultz thread on the Collingwood board..

It's what they annoyingly used to do. 😁

I like how our song has it, but must admit the banjo in Swans song is better. Teams are rebranding their logos, we need to get more banjos in our song.

Bring out the hurdy gurdy and end the debate forever.

Two wrongs don’t make a right.

⬆️ in regards to fans of other clubs turning on their own players.

I couldn’t give a flying [censored] about how other clubs treat their players. I only care about my awesome team. The End.

😁

Are they having a melt down like bomberblitz does?

And piano accordian?

It wouldn’t be complete without the instrument music teachers always give the least talented students… the humble triangle.

It barely qualifies as a musical instrument.

Aaand I couldn't give a flying [censored] what you think 😅 because I knew this would trigger you as always.

Some actually take delight in seeing opposition team melts.

A part of me wanted Sydney to lose to throw the top 4/8 race wide open, just for the chaos of it. I guess we'll just have to settle for Sydney getting an armchair ride into a GF and Collingwood being knocked out.

Worse..

Essendon have been genuinely [censored] for 20 years. Blowing a 27 point lead in the last from a Collingwoods perspective..

Grab the popcorn

Collingwood’s last quarters are as bad as ours.

Even against Richmond they got outscored by 3 goals.

Round 24 will be interesting now that both clubs are out of business.

Wait… they gave up pick 34 and a future first for Schultz?! That is mental.

Freo made out like bandits with this one.

Fly bagging the umps in the presser. Let’s see if the AFL come out and fine him.

No chance. Michael Christian probably down in the rooms telling him what to say. Corrupt club and a corrupt league.

Fly is untouchable, AFL golden boy

Fly will get a “please explain”, I’d think

Then he can “please explain” what’s happened to the filth this year - their drop off has been fantastic to see

Great result, Collingwood have had so much luck in close finishes the last few years, about time the boot was on the other foot. They've actually won 4 games this year because an opposition player has missed a shot at goal late in the game. Shouldn't be anywhere near the eight.

Could end up being pick 6 - 8 for Schultz. Freo are laughing.

Let's also not forget that Collingwood traded out their 2021 1st round pick the year prior for picks 24, 30 and future 4th in preparation for Nick Daicos. Collingwood slid down the ladder and had they retained their pick they could've had Finn Callaghan as well as Daicos. They've been burned pretty badly so far on future pick trading.

That's my instrument, universally the butt of jokes. Such a refreshing, positive sentiment, Lexi. Can I do it, then? Huh? Huh?

Regrets? I have a few.

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.
